Gotta love Edith Bunker! This is perhaps the first time since her menopause episode ("Edith's Problem") that she practically flips out! Jean Stapleton had talent as an actress. "WHAT necklace?" 😂🤣👍

Watch Jean’s face…. There’s a slight expression of a laugh-grin as she says, “What necklace?” 😂 Jean held on and stayed in character extremely well and never cracked under laughter…. So it’s a very rare thing to see her face have any slight expression as this. 😂👍🏼

At 2:22 there is a bottle of nail polish on the side table; then at 02:28 you can hear the bottle falling off the table as Archie reaches over to hold Edith’s hand. When Edith walks to the kitchen, you can see the side table is empty. At the end of the video the nail polish bottle is back on the table, also on a different spot🤣
Carrol and Jean are incredible actors!! They are NOTHING like those characters!!

All Archie had to do if he thought Edith was a kleptomaniac was go to the drug store and buy pills. Like he did when Edith was going through Menopause.
It was just an accident! Edith really forgot about the wig and the necklace when she was going after the old lady, who was about to go on the wrong bus to who knows where.
Archie is the only one that can handle Edith his own.
Such great performers. We need more humor in television today and less political correctness.

So in the 70s, some people walked into stores and walked out with merchandise without paying - affirmative action for Edith? In the 70s, all the store did was take her picture an tell her not to come back. Edith got off easy and did not have to protest anything.
