Not even a minute and a half into this cover, and I knew I had to leave a comment. This is hands down one of the best renditions I’ve heard of this song, and certainly up there with Sharon’s. The moment that all of the instruments kick in, the twangy punch of the bass, the ethereal feel of the lead guitar, consistent heartbeat of the drums in the background, and last but not least, the vocals.. they all intertwine in such a perfect way to leave you lost in a dream state. I feel as though I’m in the perfect moment in time, and it’s beautiful.
I was first shown your music 4 years ago on a date. Though that didn't go forward, my love for your music did. Thanks for blessing my ears for years

She is AMAZING and has given me so much confidence as a Lesbian. The song cigarette from her last album was so human and beautifully explained what break ups feel like. I love the way she dresses in this video etc. and watching her express herself.
I know right, Cigarette was like the best/worst version of my breakup with my ex fiancé I used to play it on my guitar when she would scream in drunken high rages.. she broke my guitar but still it actually made me feel not ALONE!!
