I will buy the Florasis for my Mahjong friend for the Chinese New Year. It is incredibly vintage and magic looking, very 1930 in spirit. It is definitely a color story.
I am wearing the Florasis makeup right now. Very beautiful! I love the primer, the eyeshadow palette, the lip treatment, the blushes that also have a highlight with them, and I am really enjoying the eyebrow pencil. It was the product that surprised me the most, I think. I also like the liquid lipstick but mostly when I sheer it out. I am kicking myself for not buying one of the cream lipsticks and the full-size highlight. For now, I am using the white shade in the eyeshadow palette as an additional highlighter. It is actually a face palette. I want to buy the gorgeous beauty kit with the beauty box. It is very pricey, but it is a dream set as far as I am concerned! The kit I did purchase came with cushion foundation, which is pretty, but I think I would prefer the liquid foundation. I know I will be shopping that site for sure!
The Florasis shadows, powders..honestly everything is just so artistically beautiful. Looks like they are good quality as well. I am so excited they sent you a wonderful package of goodies. The first mascaras I ever used as a teenager (mid 60’s) came in a rectangular cake with a separate little brush. I believe it was Maybeline in a red case. Then when the first liquid mascara came on the market the wand looked just like the Florasis one but with no bristles- just a spiral metal (or plastic?) wand. You really had to build it up but the style wasn’t a heavy look in the US until the late 60’s when the influence of the British models came to America such as Twiggy, Jean Shrimpton, and Penelope Tree, etc. Lashes became very important and we would wear false eyelashes for dressy occasions- never for everyday. The mascara you used brought back memories.

As far as I know, the first metal spiral mascara was produced by Helena Rubinstein. (I don't talk memories as I am only 33.)

The Rare Beauty stick bronzer is absolutely amazing!! They did an awesome job on that. I have power boost shade and it is such a beautiful product. Absolutely love that bronzer! I mix mine with the amber shade of the Anastasia cream bronzer and they are beautiful together. I'm in love!

I’m so glad you finally got the opportunity to try Florasis products- I’ve had one of their eyeshadow palettes and Love Lock lipsticks for a while and recently got the Impressions of Dai Fairy Peach Blossom powder which is dual-colored for color correcting and just lovely. I’ve been interested in the eyeshadow palette you tried, but now I’m REALLY fascinated by that mascara.

What a fun video... you tried so many great new goodies! I love the look of the Suqqu blushes. So soft and smooth looking. The Florasis mascara, highlighter and eyeshadow palette have piqued my interest too. Especially that eyeshadow palette! The packaging is stunning and the formula looks beautiful. Speaking of powders, you should try the Decorté AQMW face powder. They sell it on Everglow Cosmetics. It doesn't make my face matte or dry at all, but instead gives me a glowing satin finish but also sets my makeup and get rid of oil slicks. The packaging is stunning too and the powder itself is a baby pink. It is also not messy at all for a loose powder, since there is a protective plastic cap you put over the powder and where you place the very lush and lovely puff they give you. It's like $250 USD almost but it's the most amazing powder I have ever tried! It makes me want to try their AQMW foundation, lipsticks, mascara and blushes too. They all have stunning packaging like Florasis.
I’m with you on the Byredo eyebrow pencil… I love my Gucci one but there’s something about the Byredo that is so effortless to apply and I’m heavy handed and yet somehow it just looks done but natural-I just love it!

Also saw Julia Adams using the Florasis lipstick today and she mentioned that they come in a ceramic container and the lipstick colors are supposed to imitate the colors used in their ceramics. Something you might like to try? 💋
I’m so happy that you’ve tried the Florasis eye palette because I’ve been really curious about it. I love the look you created with it. When I went to the site, I noticed that one of the other palettes has a “cool” and “warm” version. I believe it’s the one shaped like a folding screen and I’m curious about that, too. Both the cooler palette and the peacock palette are beautiful and I am tempted. Not at all sure about the highlighter range, but their blushes look interesting. This was FUN! Thanks.

When you blot them, they sheer to just a wash of color. I have only tried the liquid lipstick though as it came with a kit.
