A New Accolade for B-ball Robot CUE? Shooting for a New Guinness World Record™ | Toyota Times News

For the first Toyota Times News of the new year, we feature the development team that tried to get a Guinness World Record™. In 2017, the volunteer organization, the Toyota Engineering Society, began a project to develop AI from scratch and created the AI basketball robot CUE. It has evolved in many ways, increasing the shooting distance and learning to dribble. This time, it attempted the record for the farthest basketball shot by a humanoid robot.
