From the first day i took a patient to the OR, i knew i belonged there. The class of colleagues u work with , the calm, organized atmosphere is everything!!! Its so different from what i get in the wards. Hope to be a theatre nurse or nurse anaesthesist some day. You inspire me so much, thank you😍
@NurseMJTV hi dear. I am almost rounding up my degree and hoping to specialise in the theatre. Can I buy my own scrubs and work with it?. I am asking because I see hospital scrubs looking so big and mostly unironed, I like to iron my scrubs o 😅
Yeah! OR is a very nice to work a nurse especially when u work with lovely colleagues🥰 One thing I love about your colleagues is that everyone was just so friendly, so natural, like no hesitations at all, the scrub nurse even said “I don’t know, this is my first time” 😂 thanks so much ma’am, I learnt from the training too. And pls I don’t know if your trust is recruiting, we are plenty that are still looking for work honestly, pls kindly help us with your trust name so that we can apply. Thanks and God bless you😘
I'm loving this specialty more and more because of you and some of my colleagues, you guys make it look so cool,I came here immediately I got the notification😅🥰nice vlog, thank you for sharing💖
Hi, I love this video. In the part where your all setting up for the surgery.. you mentioned a Juliana? She was opening sterile items.. what position is that. I’m in school to do what she was doing in the States, over here it’s a surgical technology program. I know in the UK, they do not have “surgical techs”, I am interested in moving there in the future..😊
This is what have been praying for to be a register Nurse/ theater Nurse. God answer all my secret prayers. Weldone Nurse MJ 👐 kudos ( S.O.N.U.C.H.I.A) show me sege 😣
We're on the same page oh. I'm also a Perioperative Nurse and I have been applying for months!! Hoping for the best really really soon. Nice meeting you Esther.
@@NurseMJTV so if someone did post basic nursing in theatre nursing or orthopedic nursing she will be automatically employed in that particular unit of the hospital
I am a 100L nursing student in Imo state university So how can i study this theatre nursing here in Nigeria is it through the uni or school of nursing here in Nigeria
A theatre Nurse is an umbrella term for a nurse who’s involved in the preoperative, intraoperative and post op phase of clients care 😄… when they’re intraoperative and scrubbed for a surgery, then they’re called Scrub Nurse… 😊 if in the theatre but not scrubbed, it’s Circulating Nurse … I hope that makes sense
Nurse Mj is it that you're just training to be a scrub nurse right...if yes ....which is more preferable doing it there when I come over or doing it here in Nigeria before relocating?....people tend to say it is way more expensive there than Nigeria
If you can get the post basic training in PeriOperative nursing, that’s great… however,,, working in a theatre can also give you the experience to apply for the role… you don’t need to have the certificate… I promise I will talk more about this soon…
What's happening there in Uk regarding Visa application? I applied skilled work visa on May and still now they haven't returned back my passport. Is there still hope to be granted Visa?
I’m sorry you got scammed. Please do not say someone scammed you through my WhatsApp. Do you have my WhatsApp number? Did you verify with me? Did you see the disclaimer on my Instagram? Kindly do your due diligence the only way to reach me is my email!
Is it possible to get a job there without experience as a theatre scrub nurse? So they teach you ? I love theatre but I don’t have much experience in it
You will still need a degree as a nurse to become a scrub nurse as you still need to assess patients if they deteriorate and you still assess the skin before procedure although it’s different from the ward you still have to have alot of knowledge about each procedure taking place
