I'm glad your husband was there for u, defending you when your mother-in-law was giving u a stern look while u educating Mula's behavior. You were trying your best to cook some delicious Chinese meal but somehow she said something hash back to you, even though her love for Mula is for sure to see, it's hard to believe she won't do it again in daily life. Hope you can be strong, life between you and Evan is more important!
The stern look is easily misunderstood and that's our fault for not explaining it well enough. The look has nothing to do with Bing Bing, she would've given that look to anyone who made Mula cry whether it's Bing Bing, Evan or the queen of Denmark lol. Nobody gets to upset her granddaughter, it's just a protective reaction but yeah it's not easy to see from the video so we should have probably explained it better:)
I suspect her mother-in-law was giving Bing Bing a fake 'stern' look. If you have been watching Bing Bing's videos, you will notice her mother-in-law is a very patient, gentle, kind and very enlightened person. I have never seen a stern look or heard a harsh word from her. Even when she reprimanded her husband, she spoke in a gentle and teasing tone. If only most of us can be so fortunate to have a mother in law like her. Love to the whole family. And most importantly, to the star of this video, Mula, Happy Birthday and Lots of love and kisses, sweet child. Her answer about maybe she needed to take up football is so intelligent!
