Ronnie was one of the only friends John had in America, and so - one day - John called Ronnie because of the crowds outside their Plaza hotel which trapped them inside. The Ronettes snuck them out of the hotel, and took them to a place they knew no one would recognize the boys: a Spanish Harlem They enjoyed lunch together, and the Beatles enjoyed what was their last tastes of anonymity. Ronnie said that they asked her about America and the American musicians like Little Richard, Isley Brothers, Smokey Robinson and more :)
