Desenvolvimento:
Sócrates foi um filósofo ateniense que viveu no século V a.C. Ele foi um dos primeiros a desafiar as crenças e valores estabelecidos em sua sociedade por meio do método socrático, que consistia em fazer perguntas para estimular a reflexão e levar os indivíduos a descobrirem a verdade por si mesmos. Para Sócrates, a sabedoria verdadeira vinha do autoconhecimento e da busca pela virtude. Ele acreditava que a vida examinada era a única que valia a pena ser vivida e que a virtude era o caminho para a felicidade e a realização pessoal.
Por sua vez, Platão foi discípulo de Sócrates e fundou a Academia de Atenas, uma das primeiras instituições de ensino superior do mundo ocidental. Para Platão, a filosofia era a busca pelo conhecimento absoluto e eterno, que estava além do mundo sensível e mutável. Ele desenvolveu a teoria das ideias, afirmando que o mundo visível era apenas uma cópia imperfeita e transitória das formas ideais, que representavam a verdadeira realidade. Além disso, Platão também abordou questões políticas em sua obra "A República", onde propôs um modelo de governo ideal, baseado na justiça e na harmonia entre as classes sociais.
Conclusão:
A influência de Sócrates e Platão na filosofia e no pensamento humano é inegável. Suas teorias e métodos de questionamento continuam sendo estudados e discutidos até os dias atuais. Sócrates nos ensinou a importância do autoconhecimento e da busca pela verdade, enquanto Platão nos fez refletir sobre a existência de uma realidade além do mundo sensível. Self care is sooooo important. Also as a mom who has played minecraft since launch and has kiddos who are just starting to get into minecraft with me, it is super amazing to have a wholesome option I can safely let my kids watch (on repeat usually) without worrying. Thank you for all that you do, I don't think you can ever fully understand the positive impact you have on those around you.
