I find Urs very incisive, very thoughtful in interviews without sounding wisdomy. David, with his fluency in the English language, brings clarity that is accessible to most everyone on any street. Carlos uses his Castillan content to add to the conversation, and Sebastien,, even with his modesty as an English language user, has a lot of charm that colours his utterances...and the glorious thing about these traits of each individual speaker is that as a listener of their music, we hear them coming from these...I love listening to this group interpret classics their way! Viva,Il Divo!
I just found this interview done 6 years ago and it's one of the best I've heard. I love all of the guys in Il Divo and I love hearing them talk about their personal experiences. David's talk about what he's learned about the 3 Europeans being so different from each other, even though Spain, France, and Switzerland border each other was fascinating to me. I would have loved to have heard him go into it further. Carlos and Sebastian were fantastic, but the one I really loved was Urs. He's very intelligent, introspective, and verbally advanced in his thought process and then explaining his point of view articulately in English, which is not his native tongue. Urs is simply amazing. And now almost 9 months after the tragic loss of Carlos, I love hearing him speak with the obvious joy he had for his life and performing world wide. My heart broke when he died of Covid-19, an illness that almost claimed my life. I know the battle he had to fight with it; I spent 92 days in the hospital fighting as hard as I could to stay alive. God bless you Carlos. Rest in peace. You are loved and missed by millions of us. ❤️❤️❤️
