Hey Matt. I am going to be in the Gulf Shores area the week of the 24th and wanted to do some surf fishing with artificials. Going to stop by your store and would like some suggestions of artificial baits that I can pick up at Beach Bum Outdoors? Target fish would be Blues and Trout for these. Any advice would be great! I had a slightly different workout plan today I lifted a pint glass 37 times in between unloading and spreading 3 1/2 yards of tan bark mulch. should be a little over a ton between the two, so I think I'm good
Top water is THE most exciting form of fishing I have ever done. Doing it fresh water there is bigger visual component I think. It is hard not to react to a fish jumping before they have the bait. I don’t see that as much in your surf fishing.

Is it still a good plug? I'd love to see you use it again. Today's video was great. We could see many of the strikes on camera. Trout, trout, trout WOW!!!
Dear Beach Bum, i signed up for your chanel. Thats you, meassed up hair, fun fishing etc. I did not sign up for family fun. Its fine to fish with wife and daughter, but use a different chanel like Beach Bum and family. Kids have all the rights on the world to fish, but you Beach Bum have a name, a style, a way and a child doesnt fit into that.

If you ever in the St Petersburg area check out Captain Gene Maxwell. He is the best captain in that area.
I don’t know as much about the Pensacola area. But I’m sure you might get some good captain recommendations here or on Facebook!

I'd always rather 1st catch be a Ladyfish than a Catfish. At least l probably won't have to move spots. And they make decent cut-baits...
