Several things I am particular interested in when watching the video: 1st - All mushroom lovers love rain. Mushroom hunting in the rain is a normal thing but also dedication. 2nd - Jack was so immersed in the moment. The leaf on his hair stayed there for a while. You can feel the passion over the video. 3rd - Shooting video in the rain is difficult. Great video and it is very interactive. It presents well with the mushroom walk experience! Love it 🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄
I picked about 8 lbs of matsutake at that place today haha! Only sticking to the trail. I only found 1 porcinni. It was my 1st time there, so many sloppy pickers its crazy, pretty thrashed. Oh well, makes it easy for me to find patches.
Hey. i live in northern cali. in Redding to be exact. im wondering the types of psilocybe mushrooms that grow here. im part of an i.d. group on facebook and been searching. seems all the ones ive found my i.d. isnt right. me being new to this is why. so if u could help i would appreciate it. thanks.
Thanks for filming this amazing learning experience! Your videos are such a release for me. On a different note, are you aware or making any progress on getting rid of all these spam bots? It's rather unfortunate..
It's very hard to keep up with, I sure wish I could make them go away. They're like parasites. I just have to manually go in once in awhile and remove and mute them. If I report too many it could look like my channel is up to no good and RUclips might shut it down so I don't want to go that route.
Such a great channel, thank you Aaron!!!
Thank you for including relevant photos! Really awesome detail and helpful to better learn
Great and fun video, Lauren and Jack are awesome mycologists!
Yes they are!
Such smart mycologists. I love watching these videos down here in Texas!

Can not wait to get back to my village and start mushroom foraging. Several more days left.

How do I join a foray like this? is there an event schedule or maybe class?
I would try to find a local mycological society and see if they have any of those kind of workshops or events
Thank you for uploading this. Very informative and fun to watch!
I'm not far and would love to come to a foray
Knock it off! Knowone wants your fake drugs!
I think over harvested mushrooms, year after year, might just decide to move/focus energy elsewhere. Just a guess, these things seem really "smart".
how do you get invited to one of these field trips?
Inbox ☝️☝️☝️he got you covered 🍄💊🍫🥰🔌💯
You can sign up next year to be an attendee at the next costal fungi symposium, or join your local or nearest mycological society.
Is there a particular wavelength of UV that you prefer?

I honestly am new to UV foraging so I do not have a preference, yet.

bellows are for increasing a fire, not putting it out...just sayin'
If it’s pumping oxygen at least
