Idk how it is in the US, but in the UK calls are split into 3 categories. If they aren’t breathing/unresponsive that’s the highest category so paramedics will almost always be there within at least 5 mins. If an ambulance is on route to another call that’s category 2 or 3, but they are the closest to the category 1 incident then they will have to go there instead
Honestly the guy was making it so easy for them that either Detective Ed was overthinking it, trying to play a good cop bad cop role to make guy more comfortable with answering Detective Reeves instead of him, or he was just covering for the lack of difficulty by trying to sabotage the interrogation...

It doesn’t make it their fault but it is a crime in itself so I’d be interested to know what went on there. I bet they struck an agreement to testify to avoid those charges. Lastly, while he should still do time, we can’t realistically expect him to do the same time as a cold blooded k*ller…compare him to these other cases and it’s obvious that it shouldn’t be the same sentence. I do agree as well that him being charged with 2nd degree mu*der is not in line with what we heard…manslaughter seems correct no? Which I think is what his legal team was referring to. I suspect the judge thought that and that’s why he took off the three years. Those high priced lawyers will have helped a lot and I think that’s also why he was moved into a prison work facility, which honestly after watching all these horrific cases and watching this…I’m not going to argue that he should have got life without parole or 50 years or something. That’s an emotional reaction, logically his sentence makes sense in my opinion. I’m sure others will disagree but everything I’ve stated is clearly correct. We all watch these videos and see the type of person that deserves life without or the ultimate penalty depending on whether you think that it’s the easy way out…I’m not sure on that tbh
