It should be safe, otherwise it would not be suggested among the extensions. if the CPU works at 100%, try to stop intellij and check if the problem is fixed. then restart intellij and check if it is always at 100%.

​​@@edrisasanneh2143No man. I have a temporary solution. Everytime I get this error, I uninstall the MySQL products and delete files related to MySQL. And then I reinstall every MySQL product from scratch.
Make sure you make the port free before reinstalling the MySQL server on the same port or install it on a new free port. Honestly I didn't get a permanent solution from anyone till date.

try starting the MySql service in Services. Press the Start key, type Services, open it and look down until you find MySql. Right-click on it and click start.
