@@richshetler the drive shaft is made of 2 main pieces that fit together and slide to become longer or shorter, like a PTO shaft between a tractor and implement. When the car starts to belly out, the slider telescopes out as opposed to pulling out of the transmission tailshaft like a solid driveshaft would.
