Whether young or older, as soon as a man shows neediness, it's bad. And the relationship problems never change. A man has to show values and take the lead. No compromises. And not to seek, but to be found. As long as this man does not change his inner attitude, he will always attract the “wrong” women.

Going somewhere you don’t otherwise want to be, just to have a relationship is bad idea. I say, choose the place & not the woman. Why act out of desperation, at any age?

I'm happily married to my Filipina wife and would choose this guy lol! No seriously this man seems really good natured, reminds me of Paul Newman. Protect your heart and your bank account going forward and I'm sure you will find a really good woman! Be blessed!

I will, but most men will not be honest with themselves and put themselves out there for the public to scrutinize his failed relationship.

In a certain culture, the relatives celebrate when a loved one dies because they believe the person is going to heaven. However, they feel sad when someone in the family marries because they are unsure about the future.

She left you for younger and he left her for younger. She took nothing from you in divorce. I think you are still better off having been with this honest woman. Send her kid to college.

Communication, patience, and understanding are really important. I've been married for 24 years, and we have miscommunicated hundreds of times over our marriage. It has caused anger and heartache at times. Just because they can speak English does not mean they understand all the nuances of the Western mind and vice versa.

Sam those kinds of endings to a Marriage is always sad. As as he said he wishes her nothing but the best in the future. Compatibility and expectations should be flushed out at the time of entering into the relationship so there is a meeting of the minds. If that does not happen then the chances of having a successful Marriage falls dramatically. Hopefully they both have takeaways that will serve to better their lives going forward.

As Paul said. He moved too fast in his past relationship…this time he will take his time, and lower the age gap and live in the Philippines.

He says everything to blame himself - She was not a "Good" woman, maybe that's why her daughter's father fled. Did you speak to him? Unbelievable. The young foreign men are coming here and leaving babies with many of these young women and the women are happy as long as the baby has a straight nose. Go figure. 🥴

😒 could have happened to anyone, stop being hard on yourself, people change, and just because you stay in the Flips does not mean that things will go any better, i would argue that you should expect the same result no matter where no matter who, some people just dont like us and the only reason they are with us is to use us, go play the song by Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams, keep listening to it until its drilled into you. Be careful. I wouldn't want my Papa to be out there living with just anyone.

I think Paul is kidding himself that the age gap wasn’t the culprit of his divorce. If she married a younger man that was secure , statistics show they would most likely be sill married.
Filipino’s are looking for security and maturity and if it means marrying a much older man, that’s what they’re going to do. But if they found a younger man with those same qualities they would prefer the younger man.
Bringing a Filipino to the states dramatically increases her options to find that younger mature and secure man. Keeping her in the Philippines, she will learn to love the older man to keep her secure because she has less options of finding a younger secure man.
It’s nothing more than a transaction, she gets what she wants and he gets his very young girl that he’s dreamed about, just to figure out they have nothing in common except the transaction and the stares in public areas.
