I’m a senior in USA. I remember what it was like to worry about money when we were young. If I could go back in time I would advise myself to never buy on credit if I could not afford to pay off the card each month. I would bank HALF our income as a couple. Retirement funds would be maxed savings and an emergency fund of 6 months to one year’s expenses would be goal #1. Time flies and the earlier you do these things the sooner you get to enjoy life on YOUR TERMS. You call the shots. Why blow it on stuff that is meaningless for the short term? Believe me, it is all the crap you will want to get rid of later. 🤣 no one needs a massive car payment, a designer widget if you don’t have a gorgeous savings account! Merry Christmas 🎄❤️
Can’t believe this is the last one of the year! I’ve learned so much from you in the last few months, I’m so grateful for your willingness to share the ups and downs ❤ I’m starting a new job in January and the tracker would help me ease the anxiety around managing my money and hitting all my goals 💸
❤ Hi Zoe I have 8 sinking funds all at the bank. I do not use overdraft. I also disallow debits, meaning I can transfer in but not out. Unless I go to the bank or call telephone banking. Also I do not use any credit cards, I use cash and a zero base budget. It works for me. 💕💕💕
Im an so excited to get out of debt AGAIN and stay out. I look to move out, maybe build but definitely first goal it to live "worry free" when it comes to finances.
Lol budget was so relatable thanks for being real it's so refreshing. I did the same and kept thinking I was going crazy looking for money I'd spent 😂.
I tried sinking funds but then I just always transferred things around. Now I do just one general fund and then a separate emergency fund. It makes it easier
my goal is to pay off my car and then start saving for a future home 🧚🏻 i love budget tracking and i appreciate that The Line budget tracker shows you data from the entire year! happy holidays zoe!!
I lump my 'sinking/emergency' funds together as it simplifies things for me and the "bigger" amount lump sum just feels more motivating for me. I know this is different for everyone - and always think like you - reflect and go with what feels right :)
Hii Zoe. Thank you for posting videos so frequently, Im so happy when i see that new video came up. 😍😍 I’m planning to allocate a portion of my income each month toward debt repayment, while also setting aside for future travel and long-term savings. This budget tracker would help me stay disciplined and ensure I’m on the right path! ❤❤❤❤
One of my finance goals to make a more comfy emergency savings throughout next year and to have a better understanding of my personal net-worth to help with money motivation. I’m excited to follow along with your journey into next year Zoe! ❤️❤️
I have been having my eye the trackers by the Line for months. I already have a digital net worth tracker, but I don’t have a digital budget tracker that I can reference on the go. So I have been eyeing the Line’s budget tracker for a bit. I want to see all my debts and see the progress on paying them down. Great video Zoe!!! 🎉 Canadian money is pretty with the colors compared to US paper bills.
This is really helping me try to build my budget - it's difficult to follow some RUclipsrs budget when they aren't relatable income wise. My money goal is to pay off our wedding debt - it was SO worth it cos it was amazing day but now it's over its a bit of a burden to have to think about and I want it gone!
My main goal is to buy a house at some point over the next couple years so I would use the budget tracker to make sure I stay on track ☺ I also love tracking my net worth so that tracker would be interesting to see!
Great video, Zoe! Did you ever end up buying the ski pass? If not, maybe ask JS for that for Christmas? Just a thought. I would highly recommend not lumping anything for Maggie into a general savings. Hers would be better saved separately. Hope you have an awesome time in Florida.
these trackers will help me plan/get organized with my money to save up for a trip to Italy with my husband! (We wanted to go there for our honeymoon but couldn't due to covid!)
This would be a great gift especially right before the new year! It would be so beneficial to help my family pay off debt and set up for a financial future for our boys.
My goal is to buy a car for myself and totally feel that these tools would help immensely. You are doing a great job and your videos are always a must watch for me. ❤
Such a great giveaway! ❤ Love your videos! I would love to use this to update my current budget tracker which I made personally. It has helped me pay off debt and I love the layout of this one too!
I put all money in an online savings account. It makes it easier for me. I know not to touch the emergency savings portion and I use the additional funds for gifts or any sinking funds
Perfect Timing Zoe and I Absolutely Absolutely Needed This Video and I really really love your recent vlogs so so much you are my inspiration and I wish you have a blessed week ahead 💖💖💖
Brilliant…you’re being PAID to get your exercise in by teaching barre & Pilates. No extra, unpaid time needed to do that! AND it seriously does keep depression and stress lower. Win, win, win. 👏👏👏😃 Did you finish your Pilates course then? Please tell us how that went for you. 😊
My goal is to get my husband and I back on track with our financial goals so we can prepare for our future! We’re going to be combining our finances in the new year which will be a big change!
I have a high yield savings at one online bank for my emergency fund. I have another high yield savings at another online bank that does buckets which I use for my sinking funds. I like to keep them in their own buckets for specific things but if I really had to pull them for another item to prevent pulling from my emergency fund I would. I think if I had it as one large fund I would have a harder time either spending too much or not spending.
Hi there! I also love how pretty are Canadian money, also since I found you I was looking how easy to use the trackers looks. I am working on founding an emergency/ peace of mind found :)
My goal is to get organised wit my money😂 I am keeping track just on paper so digital way would be such a big progress for me. I love your monthly money budget videos❤
My main finance goals (long term) is to hit my first 100k! Short term, I want to start a sinking fund for traveling. I hit a lot of my short term goals (I have your videos as motivation to thank for that!) and I want to start thinking bigger picture and longer term 😊
Mmm wrapping up 2024, I feel a little bit better. After watching your videos so many times now, I have learned so many things from you. My goal for 2025 is to reach my 10k for sure and having different type of sinking funds. This holiday has been difficult because I didn’t save much for it so starting January I’m definitely going start my sibling funds. Thank you Zoe for your videos❤️❤️❤️❤️
I already use the budget tracker from The Line since 2022! It's so great and I want to use the net worth tracker to meet my goals of paying off debt and also starting to think long-term about finances/my financial future!
Hi Zoe, You inspired me to start budgetting this year! For next year I would love to hit my 50k savings goal and the net worth tracker would be really helpful! Thank you for inspiring me ✨🫶
I have three savings categories: 1) emergency 2) yearly expenses and bills that are divided by 12 and saved for all year. This account goes to zero at the end of each year. Ski pass, Christmas, all of the “for sure” expenses. 3) slush fund for the random stuff I forgot about or want. So just make sure to have an EF, and that you pay the monthly amount to #2, the rest is for whatever you want! What this does is essentially level out your expenses for the entire year. So if you do have months, where there is more income, you truly do know what can be considered extra and be used for other things, because you know you are covering everything else.
I'm heading back to Canada for a trip in the Summer of next year and at the start of the year, I want to try and save more money so I don't have to depend on a credit card again.
Love your budget’s videos ! ♥️ I am still looking for a good budget tracker that will motivate me to use it. Yours seems the most easiest to use! My goal is increase my network and have a good budget tracker to really stick too ! Thanks you for this giveaway! 🎄♥️
Great video and I would use the budget tracker and net worth tracker to help me fully fund my sinking funds for 2025, and to start saving for a house deposit.
My goal is to save up a home repair fund now that my husband and I own a house - but its old so we know there will be repairs in the near future! Need to be prepared.
This year has been super difficult in several areas for me (financial, health, etc.) so my budget has basically fallen apart! For 2025 my goal is to restart my budget better than it was before, and really take the reins back on my finances. I feel like the budget tracker and net worth tracker would give me a nice clear picture of where I'm at and help me keep on track this year
Love the vid!! Also you look stunning, as much as you said you're tired from the day & tesching 😅 My goals for this year are a lot, but one financial goal I have is to stick to the cash budget system for 3 months in a row minimum throughout the year! And the net worth tracker would help me because it would visually remind me that goals are achievable if you put your mind to it - and if it's something like how much monetary goods you have and are worth, like wow that's sick to be ad go see throughout the months! ❤
My goal this upcoming year is to get out of debt so when we get pregnant (actively trying) we can bring a baby into a debt free life and I can work less. I was debt free aside from our mortgage but this year we didn’t make the smartest financial decisions. I have a loan out on a new car and we got married all in the same year. Unfortunately we also owe quite a bit of money back for our wedding. All this to say, I am on a mission to eliminate the debt and track all my expenses for this upcoming year. Yours and Carter’s videos have been keeping me company on a daily basis
I have used the cash envelope method back in 2019 and it was amazing. I stopped during COVID. I want to re-implement this method in 2025. I will be paying down all of my debt within the first quarter of 2025 so I will have a lot of extra money to invest but the theme for 2025 for me, is to save and build wealth. Thank you!
I'm just excited for the year to be over, 2024 has been a roller coaster of stress! But if I'm being honest 2025 is already looking stressful with work being way slower and hours being cut... I'm stressed to see what type of hours and paychecks I'll be getting in January 😥
Been loving vlogmas, Zoe! Thanks for hosting these givwaways 💙 My goal(s) for 2025 are to save down $10-$15k towards my future home fund, start a Roth IRA and also fill up a vacation fund so I feel less guitly about taking breaks!
Love your video as usually 🥰 Je pense que le budget tracker et le net worth vont m’aider à enfin prendre en main mes finances. Étant en freelance j’ai des revenus très différents et pas d’épargne je voudrais que ça change en 2025 🙏🏾
last monthly money of the YEAR!!! how are we feeling for wrapping up 2024??
Feeling optimistic!
I want to be more mindful of my spending and ensure I’m investing best I can while living my best life!
Canadian money is so pretty. Me and my husband were talking the other day about how boring US money looks.
they gotta refresh those bills 😉🤪
This is my first year saving before Christmas and it was amazing. Seriously, so greatful.
happy for youuu!! such a great feeling

I've just paid off consumer debt and am looking to refine my budget and also start looking more at my net worth as I am 40!!! And it's so important.

I feel you on the late payments! Happens to me as a freelancer too 😅Not always fun, but grateful for the opportunities.
Always looking forward to your monthly money videos!

Aah so exciting, Zoe! My goal is to save for a trip next year, we're visiting family and friends in Europe with my sister ❤
Love your videos ❤. I am currently budgeting for my son's college necessities for Summers/Fall 2025 semester.

You look glowing in this outfit!
