Never mind the fact that Niko works for Vlad, Faustin, and various other Russians and the fact that Hove Beach is populated with a ton of Russians which is where this Radio station is supposed to operate out of in the game. Trust me. Rockstar knows exactly what they are doing.

GTA offers unique atmosphere and is so immerse that theres no reason to not be proud of discovering music through such a well made series. I think the logo surely represents the sun, because it's logicial : Vladivostok is situated at far east of Russia, also considered as Japan like "The land of the rising sun"... =)
Niko is probably a bosnian serb because he resembles one of the characters of Behind Enemy Lines starting Owen Willson were Willson's character is a pilot who got shut down somewhere in bosnia & there was this sniper that was chasing after him in the entire movie to me if i'm correct that sniper must resemble Niko
