I choose the SE. The SE would be a great choice for me. Plus a step up from the LE. I don't have to have all the bells and whistles in a vehicle. On a side note I like the XSE. But I would get the V6.
Toyota Camry 2019 is such a beauty! I would honestly prefer XSE. You're spending good amount of money on a very reliable car that's going to last you very long time, might as well just get the XSE model
I made this decision last November choosing the 2019 SE Camry over the XSE. The extra features of the XSE are worth an extra $4000 but honestly the SE gives you what you need and a lot more but you do lose sporty extras of the XSE including the 19" wheels and full LED headlights and taillights. And the dual exhaust with quad tips that give you an extra 3 HP (hey every little bit helps!) Also you lose the full automatic cruise control that will slow you to a full stop instead of about 25 MPH with the SE. I really don't have buyer regrets, the 18" wheels look great and give extra rubber between the rim and the road. I do wish the SE came standard with BSM and RCTA. On the other hand I'm glad I have a regular key to start the car and no moon roof. I think the Camry SE is a no-brainer upgrade over the LE for $1500 if only to get to the awesome "NASCAR" front end and great 18" wheels. The XSE upgrade over the SE made me drag my feet a month learning the advantages of each. But you really can't go wrong with any 2018-19 Camry, Toyota hit this one out of the park!

I brought my 2018 Toyota Camry SE with 8 miles at Toyota of north Miami back in August 2017 and unfortunately on 05/23/2019 I find out that I need a new transmission for my car .Let me Start by saying that I did my regular maintenance Every Five Thousand mile interval RECOMMEND by Toyota guidelines making sure it will keep running like a Toyota at Toyota of Hollywood FL and The vehicle haven`t been into any car accident. I’m extremely Strict on maintenance on my vehicle knowing that I drive constantly through harsh weathers. On 05/21/2019 I was heading to Walmart suddenly; the car suddenly start rev on its own while the car is on D drive (as if the car were in neutral) I immediately but gently apply the brakes and pull over on the side of the road turn of the car and restart it. I call Toyota of Hollywood and inform my service adviser the issue and suggest bringing it to the dealership safety. Once I arrive their I meet up with Brian singterry service manager and inform him the issue. He took the vehicle to the technician to get it diagnose. After 45 mins the car was ready for pick up and he inform me that they don`t see any issue. I left the dealership 10 miles later the car starts to act up again, but this time warning light came on from pre-collision system malfunction land departure malfunction etc. I went back to dealership and show my service manager brain. Brain inform me that they will investigate it first think in the morning because it was late in the day. It took the technician 3 days for them to figure out the issue and their conclusion was that it’s a mechanical failure and need a replacement. unfortunately, the powertrain covers 3 years/ 60,000 miles and the time of the issue Occur on 05/23/2019 odometer 68,841 therefore I wasn’t cover under warranty. For a new transmission is $4,597.92 LABOR: $750.38 TAX: $376.14 and Misc.: $25.00 totaling up to $5,749.44 I contact Toyota USA 1-800-331-4331 number and speak with a senior advisor and inform him my situation. After five business days he contact me stating that he had finish his investigation unfortunately due to the car having a lot of mileage in a short time and they are not legally obligated since the car is out of warranty however since were loyal customer they were able to provide help with cost of replacing the transmissions the amount of $2,500 reducing the balanced of $3,249.44. as of today, 6/20/19 my vehicle is repair but unable to take it out because I’m unable to paid $3,249.44 It`s extreme hard to come out Three thousand dollars out of pocket while paying car payments, insurance, food, phone bill, and transportation to go to school and work. My advice to others if your going to buy any vehicle especially totally redesigned vehicle make sure you buy extended warranty and don`t end up in my situation. God forbid if my car gets repossess my next vehicle wouldn`t be a Toyota, probably a Honda Nissan or especially kia with their 200,000 limited warranty at least I know for a fact if my transmission were to face the same issue (mechanical failure) the warranty department is LEGGALY OBLIGATED replacing it FREE OF CHARGE. So that's 6 speakers like my '12 Camry was. But the Sirius XM still sounds awesome thru the stereo like the previous Camry did! This is the genuine leather like the 12 Camry. The seat is super comfortable and very well bolstered! I just got can't say enough good about it yet! I don't care if you buy a used 2018 model or a new 2019 Camry. I think you would be quite satisfied! But be sure you take a decent test drive! I have zero trouble with the new 8 speed automatic transmission! None! It learned my driving style in about 24 hours. Play with the Eco, Normal, and Sport modes! That 2.5 Liter 4 cylinder is powerful yet really economical! Really torquey! No complaints from this new owner! Mark in Iowa. Any other questions feel free to ask! Mark. PS. I've only had the new Camry 9 days so far. Mark.
Just bought a 19 XSE almost a month ago with the 4 cyl. Plenty of power and pep in my opinion.
Mark Smith how did it feel to downgrade from the V6?
That 4 cylinder need more power...like in the 250hp mark....
The xse is way too expensive...like the nightshade edition
Best bang for the buck is the Trd
Hi Jeff, Randy here up in PEI Canada. Just want to thank you for the help your videos provided me with my decision to purchase an 019 Camry SE with upgrade packages. I realize your main purpose may be for your customers in your region but could you do a video on the installation of that rear passenger usb port. Is it a Toyota part, and could you also provide the part number and source? Would be a great help to us post sale diyers with complaining teens in the back seats. Thanks again for your videos and please keep up the great work.
XSE for me
I have the 2019 V6 XSE and the fuel tank is only 14 gallons. I had the car for 3 years now
Nope! Is 18.5 gallons
@jorgefernandez145 , again: I had the 2019 XSE V6 for 3 years, and now I have the 2022 XSE V6 for a little over a year now. When the car gas tank is completely empty, I fill it up all the way until the pump can't pump anymore gas into the car, IT ONLY FITS 14 GALLONS.
ummm are the side mirror turn indicators optional then? because my SE has them
()xym()r()n yes
Wished the SE had a bigger information display. 4" is too small
This guy is great😂. Thanks for the comparison👍
I hit my head almost every time I get in this thing. I'm only 6 1
Yoo Jef do they all comes with radar sensor
SE
The only downgrade of the SE that doesn’t come with heated seats otherwise it’s valid for money
That’s a really good point. You can always have your dealership add heated seats to an existing SE
Ahmad Al Ameer and the upgraded lights
@@Toyotajeff REALLY????.....I did not know that....TY 😳😳😎👍
My wife just bought an SE and it has heated seats and BSM. Your dealership must suck
Extra $250 a seat is what I was quoted per seat plus labor to put them in after the fact...
Hello Jeff. Can you add blind spot monitoring on a existing 2018 se?
Itgelt Munkh-Erdene hi there no that’s not possible. You have to get it as an option from the factory only...
I see. Thanks for the reply!

Nice car but everything is optional packages at the end you over paid for this car and push button is optional that's so stupid what about the air bags those are optional to 🤣🤣you know with Toyota everything is optional packages sucks
Hector Barrientos Wtf they made airbags optional? Haha aren’t they mandatory? I agree
I like the look of this car better but I agree, I saw the honda accord 2020 EX and it had break hold push start and heated seats automatically included for 50$ a month less than the regular SE.

Using a 19 SE rental now and not impressed. Noisy sluggish engine, road noise and cheap for and finish . Looks nice but that is about it
germanshepherd13 I beg to differ on that I rented a 19 SE Super White on Ash Softex Leather with the $2k Package. The car is impressive in my opinion.
I would luv XSE but won’t pay more than 16k, please!

Don't get the SE!
At first i wanted to punch this guy then at end not as bad.

My transmission fail on my 2018 Camry se
andre Falconer tell me more please
Dan
@Daniel it’s a long story
