  • Makita DML812 18v LED Floodlight Review and night time feature demonstration.
I use this thing all the time, both at home and at work. Its great for outdoor activities too, although extremely bright when there is no other ambient light around.
In my experience its one of the most powerful and capable work lights Makita has made for the 18v range so far. It lasts a good 4 hours or more, with a full 5 amp hour battery and provides a ton of light, in any situation with the flood mode. It also shoots an impressive beam at anything over vast distances when using the spot light.
Both can be run at the same time if your not worried about going blind. And there is a strobe feature too if your into electronic music and seizures...
Only real downside is, no belt clip allowance on the handle, even though it could easily have been included. Like a few other Makita cordless skins I own, they decided this torch didn't deserve it. It has a fold out hook of sorts included. And there is clip strap included in the box. But that was so useless I didnt include it in this video.
    Other than that. 100% recommend.
