Love your videos! Just wanted to say… the Wii Game names DO NOT have to have the Title ID in them. By default…. WiiBackUpManager likes to put the Title ID in the Game Name when it copies it over. I’ve always hated that! You can change the default “naming style” in WiiBackupManager before you start moving an entire library around. Just check your settings and preferences and set it as you prefer. If you go the Manual route as you outlined… any name will do. So long as you know what to pick. It’s good to have standards when it comes to file names as no one wants 2,000 games all sorted by title id. 😂 Keep up the great work! Love the channel.
Hey, so I followed the video instructions, but now I'm stuck because the USB loader GX isn't detecting my USB. It's the same USB I use for my Wii U games. Could that be the problem?
What if I did all of my homebrewing on an sd card, but want to place all my games on sdd drive? How do i setup sdd drive, besides formatting it to FAT32? Which files should be placed on it?
You need an Y Cable usb adapter. One usb goes in the back of the wii u, the other usb in a power socket, and the other cable goes in ur ssd. Thats literally it.
I have a problem, which is I can't get games on the SD card to show up properly. The games already on the console are showing up, but the games in the wbfs aren't appearing. One possible issue is when I was doing the CIOS stuff, I downloaded one of the three things as alt, and then afterward I downloaded all three as normal, and maybe the normal one didn't replace the alt one and might need to be deleted? IDK.
It seems that USB Loader GX is checking USB and the SDcard without need to press a button first. I had the same problem and the fix is to change the Loader Mode. (it's the right symbol next to the searchbar with ABC symbol in the top row.) There you uncheck NAND Channels and check Wii Games. Then the games showed up from the SDcard!
It's a shame we can't play the Pokémon Core series games on the Wii U. After an extensive search, my only option is to buy a 3DS from my cousin to play the early-generation games. I want to play all the generations through the latest, excluding the Switch ones, for which I own the console and bought Pokémon Shield years ago.

When i go to the yawmME app and tried to install the USB Loader GX-UNEO but it keeps coming back with ERROR! (ret = 0). It does show in the video as being 2.74MB but on my Wii U it shows as 0.00MB. Any help would be appreciated.

How do i get a external HDD to initialize with USBloaderGX? Ive tried everything and cannot get it to work. Yes CIOS is installed, yes patchedios80 is installed, yes ive tried both USB ports for both plugs and yes im using a Y splitter cable, but no matter what i cannot get games to load up, wether i go in from a forwarder or straight from the HB menu. I didnt have this issue when i did my wii games on my actual wii but the wii u is giving me issues...
Ive somewhat figured it out. For some reason i have to have USB ports set to both, but whats weird about that is i can only do that with the forwarders, whenever i load USBloaderGX through HBL, it prompts me that i have to have "hermes cios installed" but whenever i use the fowarders wether its through vWii or Wii U menu, i can change that setting without an issue. Is there any way to fix this?
Does the game go on the hard drive or the sd card? When I tried to put it on the hard drive the Wii U couldn’t recognize the hard drive unless it was formatted and the sd card doesn’t show the game when I put it there
Is there a reason why clicking Nintendont directly will recognize an HDD enclosure, but not USBLoader GX? My custom path is set to usb:/games but it will never load anything. Doesn’t even recognize Wii games either. I assume my enclosure probably isn't compatible but it isn't on the list as it is a cheap Chinese one, but my original Wii with the same setup has no issues reading it so it makes no sense.

Dude.. Wtf.. This is exactly what I am trying to resolve! I found that a few times once I load into wii and load USB loader from there it worked. But I was trying to configure the USB loader gx and now even that stopped 😮😢

Okay so my USB loader gx used to work on my vwii on my wii u i haven't touched my wii u in about a year. I pulled it out and plugged it in today and now my wii games wont load. It goes to a black screen then it boots me back to the vwii menu. I need help getting this to work again please. Any help is appreciated
I don’t think there is a fix yet unfortunately, my usb loader has been kinda buggy too since priiloader released on wii u. ig just uninstall priiloader for now if you don’t wanna put up with the bugs or wait for an update that fixes it :/

Some games have an issue where when you boot them up they end up in just a black or green screen and you can´t turn off your console, you can only unplug it, some games like this are Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 and also Pikmin 1 and 2, I don´t know how to fix it, do you have any clue?
Wii device manager was able to transfer 4 games until telling me i had no more space on the sd card and its capacity was at 32gb, but my sdcard is a 128gb. is there a reason for this?

I don’t think there is currently a fix for that, you’ll just have to wait to see if one comes out, or just uninstall Priiloader.

Usbloader is good but you should do a tutorial for uwuvciao

You are very welcome! And I prefer usb loader gx, but if you have priiloader and don't want to uninstall it, then Wiiflow might be better :)

Nope! After installing, they are now on your hdd/usb so you can delete the SD file

@@christiananderson-zy8el use the Dolphin emulator to convert from rvz to iso, then wiibackupmanager from iso to wbfs

Should I be using wiiflow lite on my vWii? Will I have issues if I am using regular wiiflow?

Yes you need two drives since wii and wiiu have different formats. Wiiu is formatted to the wiiu’s format, and wii is formatted to FAT32

No, wii usb needs to be FAT32 format and Wiiu needs to be formatted to the wiiu’s format. Two separate usbs are needed

Did you use the links in this video? Previous versions of the vwii channel forwarder, and the ulgx from OSC cause that

@@DymondVR you messed something up make sure there is a games folder on the root of your SD card and make sure the game is in a NAMED folder

Go on the homebrew app store (Wii u) and download the usb hide app, it will prevent that prompt

Everything except the Wii u forwarder work for tiramisu, but aroma is better anyway
I would consider upgrading From tiramisu or at the very least operate using both Aroma is very intuitive and the UI design is much cleaner
