Imagine getting false gamebanned but you aren't a popular youtuber, and whenever you ask about it on steam you're bombarded with "cheater" comments and death threats lol. Just imagine if that were what steam was like.
I mean, it's not like there are a ton of false game bans. Those can be reversed if that were ACTUALLY to happen. The problem is that the game is filled with cheaters, and the odds of a ban being illegitimate are extremely low. So, getting called a cheater makes complete sense. Death threats are the wrong thing to do, but that is the internet, and you are going to get those no matter what.

Sad part about it is how many people are constantly seen cheating, reported and never banned. 300 plus hours in the game as well. wasted my time. I got ban warning last night. Steam is being more strict. I think maybe it is because I was in and out of the game so quicky because I was testing different settings and launch options. I even went do some common stuff like running the game in compatibility mode and etc. It advised me to verify game integrity so I did immediately. Up til now I am still playing as normal. Scared the heck out of me tho.
Reminds me when i first tried playing rust back in 2020 and after 27hrs of playing the game I was game banned. Fast forward to 2022 when they finally removed the ban from my steam account. Sooo ya it took them 2 years to remove my game ban.
Same happened to me was offline for 36 hours and got raided and notification from rust plus to log in and banned for hacking lol couldnt pass the bed screen got unbanned next day with no explanation and a rust patch.
This under the bridge base is quite great tbh no one can top down you and you can claim the whole bridge as your base and they don't know where the tc is if it's in the middle or side's And for honeycomb it's fine if it sticks out the bridge since it's just a honeycomb and also you could raise it enough to have a door up the bridge and also put turrets both side as a protection so no one can doorcamp you and if you could make it as shooting floor too for raid defense

This really needs more recognition, false game bans for the majority of popular games on a platform that is specific to hosting online game libraries is a pretty big deal, imagine if you had gotten a permanent mark on your account, steam would not retract their claim or statement that it was false because they would be admitting their system is flawed, which in fact, it is, however no system is perfect, they just don't want reasons to own up to their own sh1t their system causes.

It was a good video anyway. Sometimes short is sweet, and you made it both of those. Maybe after enough false gamebans you can appeal to the higher ups to have some kind of override instated to stop them from wasting their time (make sure you make it about everyones time, especially theirs). Then you can show them what an actual aimbotter looks like 😈 just kidding, don't cheat, it's okay to make jokes about it though... maybe make it a meme, each time you make a sucky play and die you say "cheater confirmed" or whatever your own version of that is 😂
I feel like you missed an opportunity here. Instead of titling the video "I got gamebanned" you couldve titled it something along the lines of "Bridge base" and had your gameban be a finale to the end of the video.
Yet another reason game publishers need to stop being greedy and employ the already existent AI anticheats that are available. AnyBrain would be a great choice. They will never do it though, as they make far more profit by keeping the cheaters in the game.
