  • Don't pull Fiber from the Armored Jacket!
    More Online Here - www.bridgecabl...
If you pull lengths of fiber with the armored jacket or shield you will just be pulling the MC. For example if pulling the data wiring like 1000ft at the end you will notice when you go to splice or tip the heads you will have nothing for a few feet.
Prep the fiber wiring like Ray is doing in the video.
Step 1 - Crack open the armor, Klein Tools or various companies provide that tool.
Step 2 - Cut out the fiber strand and expose the Kevlar.
Step 3 - Make a loop with the Kevlar, then you are pulling NOT on the actual strand.
Step 4 - Secure with tape...and happy pulling.

Hello. What do you use to pull the huge fiber spool?
I usually use a conduit and put it on a second scissor lift or shopping carts, but don’t always have that luxury. Been researching spool caddy’s but they all seem kinda small.

Love the items you listed.....we did them all. However JACK Stands.....for cars work wonders! We have two pairs in stock for the large reels. Online a few options but like $500+ for them.....Harbor Freight at $99 per pair. Works great and safe!
