It’s main power supply is 12v. I have a power distribution box that breaks down the volts into smaller sizes. I got it from harbor models. As far as the range I’ve never done a max range but It can definitely get a few hundred yards away.
erkan engin thanks!! So the motor a DC 12v and it is a belt drive with a 2:1 ratio the model number is MFA960D211. I found all my parts at harbor models. I also have a 5 blade 3.5 inch prop. Definitely a lot of ship at 11ft 3 inches. I have two 12v batteries and I have a battery switch so I can stay out on the water for quite awhile. I also have a small onboard water pump that’s also 12v to circulate cold water around the motor because it does get warm with all the work it’s doing.

What kind of wood did you use and how does it not leak ?
So it’s made out of plywood ribs and wrapped with foam board. I then wrapped it all in fiberglass then painted it. Almost like a real boat.
