Matthew 24: 24 and Mark 13:22 talk about it (#Yes, even the elect can be deceived,
May GOD help everyone to test the spirits before so they are not deceived in JESUS CHRIST NAME AMEN

So much truth pastor, carnal minded and carnality is so much in the church, it is all about material blessing and looking good and scandal and blasphemy of GOD name and the word, anything offended believers
...insomuch that,,if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.( Matthew 24:24)
Remember deception there is the gospel not salvation

Matthew 24:23-25
23 Then if anyone says to you [during the great tribulation], ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and they will provide great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones). 25 Listen carefully, I have told you in advance.
It said "IF" am I missing something?
Where is the title "arch bishop" in the Word? Jesus said none of his elect would be lost. That was His purpose in coming. Read John again.
There is no scripture that back up that statement
matt 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. - Jesus was speaking to his disciples who you surly must know were elect.
I'd rather stick with the Word where it says if it were possible to deceive the elect. You are a great preacher bishop Duncan, however I disagree with you on this one, of which there's nothing wrong about that.
You have failed to read the whole scripture. in Matt 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
Now look at the start of the chapter - Jesus speaking to his disciples (who are also the elect)
Matt 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
How is it that Jesus warns the elect his disciples they should not make anyone deceive them if the elect couldn't be deceived?
So call general who dont know a thing about bible
