You make masking look easy. I've been prepping for a few months now and the guys I work with are trying to teaching me everything at once, which is overwhelming. They're really hating my guts now cause I've been messing up on a lot.

It’s all apart of the learning process! If it doesn’t work out, then on to another shop for another apprenticeship. It’s a lot to learn. I’ve been learning/prepping cars for 3 years now. I started learning how to paint too. But I’m still trying to figure out the most efficient and faster way to get the job done. I wish you all the best in your career!!

So glad to see your work unedited. I’ll be starting a little body shop in a garage in November with just a couple years experience mainly prep work. Great idea you came up with it is a great help for me. Here in Mexico people want a professional job but want to pay peanuts for it. But I’ll do my best to do every job as good as I can. Thanks for your vids mate.

I love you talk about youtuber comments, most people are muppets and dont understand that price dictates most of you life choices, if they followed this in there everyday life they would be driving around in a rolls royce living in millon dollar mansion and not watching paint gun reviews on youtube. Hey Gunny another very useful video mate so thanks. Had to laugh at your comments about the gym junky's coming out to work on the mines and going home after a couple of hours lol. I am also a skinny Jimmy 6"2" but only 78kg when I worked on dam sites in Vic, (Dartmouth Dam in the north east highlands and Bluerock Dam in Latrobe Valley). Started as a drillers offsider and ended up 5 years later teaching guys how to drill using the old airtrack drills pulling a compressor and working as a powder monkeys assistant. We would get these gym guys coming out to make the quick big bucks, all buffed up and ready to roll, and after a few hours lifting on and off steel rods and lugging bags of Nitro and diesel out to load the shots they were like "no way man stick this you can keep the money" So funny 😉 Love your work mate, Keep it up 👏

I used to work up north drilling for oil & deep gas on big land based rigs (3 stand derrick with 1 million pound pull capacity) years lost in the desert lol.. I don't mind masking up either unless it's a 4x4 or a big van, it sucks being on the shorter side of life sometimes unless your playing as a small forward. Go the Tigers...

But that tape looks softer, ill have to grab a roll of it.

hi gunny! meaby I have seen all your vids since you starting!but now after so long time watching you I need to tell something what is for me important!in some countrys of this earth painters can only work with waterborn paints and they are the same quick as with solvent !at the year 1995 we tested in wuppertal germany to colors the rasberryred mazda and the 735 mb both in solvent and waterborn the complete job include the diffusion time was 18min for waterborn and 21min for solvent by tempatur of 20 C.the same is also with the sata's imagine that 4 painters all day using a sata 4000 b RP and spraying cromax pro clears and that for the last about 6years and next to our gunkeeper we have a box with many devilbiss inside non usable because of the different problems what devilbiss always had !and dont think we are a small shop or a backjuard garage !
