Yup, it's a gear and a machete on the Angolan flag, not a hammer and sickle. The gear represents industrial workers and production, while the machete represents peasantry, agricultural production and the armed struggle. It's based on the flag of the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), one of several groups which fought Portuguese colonial rule. It emerged as the ruling party of Angola following the Angolan Civil War. The flag was designed by Henrique Onambwé. As a haitain watching the video i say you did a good job even myself i couldnt draw the coat of arms emblem but the reason it has a white background is because that if you have just the coat of arms without the white woudnt it look bad so compare the the flag of haiti with the background to the other one with no white background and tell me which is better!
