Hei, ette nytten kaikki etukäteen Akselia haukkuisi. Meillä suomalaisilla on ikävä tapa aina arvostella kaikkea.
Eihän täällä kukaan Akselia olekkaan haukkunut, ainoastaan biisiä jota on kyllä oikeus arvostella!
Hey guys, Aksel's vocal were really good, and the show was the best one of this years umk. Before the show, I wanted to see Erika in Rotterdam too, but the show was not the best. I believe Finland will get to the final this year, go Aksel!
So this is about the rights of the introverted people? The "beauty" of introvertism that is not designed to reach the audiences especially on a big stage?
I'm wondering if it's too late for the PRODUCTION TEAM to still hone this song a bit?? I feel it isn't in its full potential yet. It needs more dynamics... variation. I actually can hear in my ears what kind of changes would help it along... producers, can't you hear?

Nea Timonen puolet vallasta ulkomaalaisilla?😂 ootko tosissas?
Everyone, don't blaim Finns for it. Finns gave more points to Cicciolina than Looking back, but the international jury sank the ship. However, good luck Aksel🙂
Deserving winner. This was the best performance for me as well. I know its really unpleasant when your favorite didnt win, but please dont be hateful towards him and his song. He won fair and by the rules. Good luck to him and Finland.
Next year, UMK, delete the jury. Let the audience choose 100 %. He was the 2nd option for the Finnish people but the jury really helped him win. That's not fair. Erika deserved his place.
@@elffiee Fuuuck no. Finnish people were the reason why Pertti kurikan shit group was ever in Eurovision over the gem of a song called "Crossroads". That song is easily top2 song of the last decade in terms of Finnish Eurovision and it wasn't even chosen, because of Finns.. About this year. I've said it a few times here, but I'll say it again. Two bang average songs (which neither realistically wouldn't make the Finals or if they did it would've been a huuuge surprise). had a close battle. And a bang average song won. This was the best of a bad situation in my opinion.
@@user-hh8kv1xk1t I wonder why Finland doesn't have many internationally popular artists..... Could it be because we like to play it safe? Cicciolina would've been the convenient choice. Seriously people, the fact that Erika didn’t win, wasn’t Aksel’s fault. If you aren’t happy with the results, don’t come to the winners comment section and hate on him. The jury voted, the people voted, and this was our winner. Like every year, fair game. GO AKSEL!!
It isn't fair if some stupid juries from other countries choose our winner. People chose erika but the juries fucked up our vote. You call that fair? I don't.
i feel bad he's getting a lot of hate but like seriously JURIES?! Choosing his song over Cicciolina even tho Cicciolina was 10 times better? THE DISRESPECT!!?
Looking Back is much better song. I think some like Cicciolina because it's "funny". I find it sounding like cheap disco song. And I have to say it although I like 90's dance music and so on...
@@teroteitto Personally I love Cicciolina because it's more than just a catchy cheap pop song. It has interesting chord progressions, a melody that isn't too monotonic and it's just well produced. Finnish language also would've been a different and sort of exotic touch to it
I don't understand all the dislikes, omg guys he's a singer who wanted to participate and won, his song is actually pretty good (maybe not the best by people's opinion but still, it's not a bad song at all) and he has feelings too, just because the one you wanted didn't win it doesn't mean that you can take it out on his song! Instead go say those things to the international juries, omg seriously Aksel is not at fault!!
Aksel must have been the most surprised with his winning. This song will never stand among all those similar ballads. Erika Vikman was robbed by the Juries. "Cicciolina" was the best option by far! I think the number of dislikes tells UMK that they miserably failed.
You know what, amongst all the ballads in 2020, Finland has the song that is smooth and sooting to listen to. His voice is husky yet smooth, it sounds current and simple yet there's a hook to it, lyrically repetitive but NOT CHEESY (thank goodness) and there's an emotions to it that I instantly connected to it unlike some ballads this year and that's saying something considering I am not a ballad fan. Great job Finland all the best and it's my personal Top 10 material for sure ❤
@@eurovisionaviation102 But that is not Aksels fault. He is getting a lot of shit while he just wants to sing in Rotterdam. Agree that I dont understand the juries...

This was a really nice song, good voice and staging! I don't think there's so much need in all the dislikes, it's the fault of UMK for the way the winner is decided, not Aksel's. 'Cicciolina' was also a worthy winner and had a very catchy song, but at the same time, her song is just as typical as Aksel's, she had a fairly average Eurovision song that I could see in 2008.
You think the light holograms can compensate for the lack of connect between a singer and his audience? Or the HUGE eyeglasses that he forgot to wear today that made him appear half alive? It's hardly Aksel's fault that he was selected but giving the impression of a dying fish on ice taking its last gasps of life......
Ollaan rehellisiä, Akselin live show oli paras, Eerikan oli tosi surkea, verrattuna musiikkivideoon. UMK:n paras esitys voitti.
I think a lot of people really should notice how this is one of the very few stage shows that has a story with it. Its not just fancy graphics and effects, its a story being told which does very well at Eurovision like Germany 2018.
A stage alone never helps a country to qualify if the song is bland and nothing special. This song cannot be even compared to Germany 2018, Germany 2018 was miles better than this.
@@ESCTurkeyFan6767 Staging can really lift a song's live performance just as much as it can also bring it down. Erika might've benefited from better staging in this regard. While I agree Germany 2018 is better than this one, that's not to say this song has no quality in it whatsoever. Perhaps a small revamp to ensure there's a stronger progression would help, but to disregard this song for simply not being Cicciolina doesn't change the existing quality it has.
@@SILVYSPARK Taste differs and that's totally okay. But I really don't see any quality here, for me it's an another unspectacular mid-tempo ballad which I directly forget after the first listen which is not quite a good sign for Eurovision as the majority will hear the song for the first time. It's just not remarkable and doesn't have any qualities to stand out. Look for Switzerland or Bulgaria this year for example, they are serving quality and you instantly remember them after the first listen. That's what I call quality, it stands out even though it's a ballad, you don't forget it and have a huge impression after the first listen. Ya know, songs which are not special or different or eye-catching doesn't do well at Eurovision, these times are over. People love to see something different and unique. And this entry definitely doesn't have it unfortunately...
@@ESCTurkeyFan6767 I'd argue there's a lot of quality here, the catchy chorus is one of the easier to remember out of a lot of the songs in not just UMK but eurovision as well. The staging here is strong was actually good camera work (something Erika sadly lacked), he's got a lovely singing voice, and let's not forget this song does in fact have a story which not only juries look for but fans do too. The thing I think this song needs to fix is its progression, specifically in the second chorus. This will do well, not like top 10 well but it'll make the finals.

I honestly don't care if the ESC can't be held this year due to corona. If Erika isn't performing Cicciolina there, it's not worthy. She had THE song.
Exactly my thoughts ! I actually have a hunch that he is never going to travel to Rotterdam and I'm not sorry.

I feel myself really hateful and inhuman, but I had to dislike just because I wanted erika to win so bad. It's not a dislike towards Aksel, it's a dislike for the fucked up jury system and Yle's bigotry that doesn't respect what the people of Finland want, and clearly it was Erika. Nothing to add there.
@@juzuxz93 yup the hate isn't Aksel's fault, it's Yle's. Actually I think his song was one of the better half, but Erika the queen is my winner.

That song is beautiful, how can you dislike this?
LOVE THIS
This was a really nice song, good voice and staging!
Well deserved winner imo, good luck from Sweden, great song!

I think a lot of people really should notice how this is one of the very few stage shows that has a story with it. Its not just fancy graphics and effects, its a story being told which does very well at Eurovision like Germany 2018.
I thought I'm the only one who thinks that their entry are similar
