Funnily enough I've been pellet testing today too and have narrowed it down to two finalists, Accupell FT 14.66g and RWS Hobby 11.9g one domed and one flat top, but literally 5mm difference from each other! Great video, thanks
Great stuff..all my barrels are German and usually love H+N, except my HW35 which prefers JSB'S and those crossman ultras so maybe I'll give accu pell a go..👍👍
on your night vision kit if its got a balistic calculator make sure your all your data and bc are set for each pellet weight,eg a =pellet and grain bc and so on other wise if your using diffrent pellet weights and not changing the balistic calculator profile your balistic calculator will be still using the last data and pellet weight. also some time with all the write data and pellet weight your may still have to go up or down on the bc to fine tune it only putting this in just incase you didnt know hope it helps
Yes, aware of that thanks Mick. I hadn't set up the calculator for the Crossmans so just took a few shots to see where they were landing to work out my holdover. I will get around to setting up another memory set for the Crossmans. Rather than make random adjustments I prefer to get a more accurate BC by measuring the pellet drop at 50 yards compared to my zero. It's the most accurate way I've found because it's a real world result with the set pellet and rifle. 🙂👍
That's a whole lot of testing! Second groups sometimes close up as the barrel gets lined with the lead from the specific pellet, especially when changing between different pellet manufacturer's. I have the single shot loader from DARC off eBay which is okay. I see you have the Form Rifle pistol grip and cheek piece, have you had an email from them showing that a stock is now available? Looks pretty nice. Seems to fit from the pistol grip back to the butt pad plate.
Yes, I have seen the new stock. I think I saw it priced at £275. They don't do the colour to match my cheekpiece so I think I'll stick with the pistol grip.
Hello .after watching .i think you put tension in your muscles to get it at the aimpoint .and that m. Makes flyers en big groups. Also testing different pellets with te same settings is no way to show wich is the best . At differen5 speeds and reg pressure hammerspring tension .things will change .one pellet likes 250 at start .another 220 ..and so one .yours

Good stuff! 🙂👍
Really enjoyable video interesting to see how different pellets group at different ranges so thank you..
Glad you enjoyed it. 🙂👍
The first group will be leading in with that particular composition, pay more attention to the second group size.
Thanks for the tip. 🙂👍

You'll probably notice they look identical to the Crossmans. Good luck. 🙂👍
I'm having good results with Accupell FT 14.66g

Thanks Alex. I've seen those in use in a lot of US videos. I'll have to get a tin when I come across some. 🙂👍

What is the regulator setting for for 12 fpe?
I have my regulator set at 85/86 bars which is giving me 575fps/11.7 ft.lbs with 15.89 gr pellets.
