I was real young My grandmother used to take pound cake she made with butter on it toasted in the stove and get me a big glass of milk when I sit in front of TV and it was so delicious. I just bought 5O pound bag of sweet potatoes from local farmers market, only $12.OO going to can most of them.

White Lily is the best, hands down. It's what my mama has used for years and so do my sister and I. I've tried other brands in the past to save money but they're just not the same quality. I don't know what they do different but this is one thing I buy name brand of. I like saving money where I can, however, there are certain things that you just can't substitute. Another great video and recipe Tammy. I've never done that before but I'm definitely going to try this one. It looks so delicious. Since I don't like heavy, Xtra sweet cakes, this looks perfect. You're right about putting the flour in the end and not to beat it too much. The trick is whipping everything else really good and it makes it fluffy and then the flour finishes it off to perfection. I like the warm up my pound cake too and slather plenty of real butter on it and enjoy. Is that a Christmas cactus in the background? It's so beautiful Tammy. Those blooms are stunning. Love how you have done your new house. Those little pans you made the little ones in are gorgeous. Are they linked on your Amazon account?
Amazon has it... It is a little expensive but worth trying! Seems to be a better deal to buy the two 5 lb bags vs one 5 lb bag. Do you have other grocers or stores that might sell it close to where you live? 😊 ~Sharon

I have a potato ricer, i wonder if I could just put the sweet potatoes into that from the jar, it should take out the lumps. That way wouldn’t have to heat them up.
What a great way to serve that, toasted with some butter on it. I am astounded that you have nine eggs in one cake mix! Wowee. It does look like a good pound cake recipe. By the way it looks when it came out of the oven though, I think you could’ve put all of the batter in it. Love those little ramekins. I have a few pieces from Temptations also.
I grow and can sweet potatoes. One quart and one pint is perfect for this recipe. They are the perfect consistency. I wish we could get White Lilly. It isn’t available in my part of Texas. My family grew up on WL. I use King Arthur now.

At this stage of the game with only he and I home most of the time I've run out of things to make or I'm just sick and tired of the same things we've eaten for YEARS. Breakfast for dinner works. I much prefer Sugary Sams Sweet Potatoes over Bruces Yams. The best canned sweet potato when you can't get fresh. Hard to keep from eating them right out of the can.
You should consider some lighting under your shelves and cabinet too brighten up the background. Your shelves are pretty, and offer the opportunity to display pretty colorful decor when you are wearing certain colors. Could also help with sponsorships as well.
