This was my first open world rpg i ever played. It holds so many core memories for me. One of them being when my ex's brother saved over my 150+ hour game, so i took his character to the highest point and saved just before he hit the ground so he got stuck in an infinite death loop. I felt so good about it, i went back and started a new game 😂 Luckily this game has amazing replayability, even now. Edit: to the one chatter asking if we had google back then, we had gamefaqs and cheatcc. I printed so many walkthroughs and burned up so much ink trying to get through some of these games. Especially Soul Reaver. I know i was young then, But geez, i could not figure out where to go for the life of me 😅
What a journey. I loved the chemistry between Chat and you. One thing Morrowind tought me, was to appreciate the simple things. You start as a nobody, become the most powerful being in the world, but once you have all of it, you start to realize, what really matters. Not all the riches could buy the strangeness and beauty, that stolen pants or an overly ambitious wizard who falls from the sky provide. After all, it is the people who make this world the place it is and that in itself is of value and I hope that people are more aware of their inherent worth as a person, being part of this world in this time - whether for the better or the worse (that is up to each person). 1:15:40 The fighter's guild is beefing with the thieves guild because the current fighter's guild leadership is a bunch of thugs and don't want the competition. If you take quests from the corrupt members in Balmora or Vivec, you will definitely notice that they send you on a lot of shady quests. The final fighter's guild quest is actually a branching path. You don't have to kill the thieves guild, you can instead narc to one of the not corrupt senior members in the fighters guild in Ald'ruhn, who will task you with killing the leader and taking control of the fighters guild. It's a branching quest line, which you don't really see in modern Bethesda games for their factions anymore. Very cool and good
i gotta say josh, your voice acting is fantastic. it really elevates your gameplay and makes the whole thing so much more of an event. this was such a treat. i finished the entire thing in 6 days.
Ive been watching here and there but mostly listening while i draw, but even 3 hours in now everytime he narrates an npc his voice acting is so good that i look up forgetting morrowind doesnt actually have voice acting during interractions.
Clearly, the next playthrough must be another Argonian with the name "Wears-your-uniform" With the specific goal of taking out the entire Legion one at a time, wearing the uniform of the latest victim.
God damn Josh is a fantastic voice actor, the last 20 hours or so I had to keep checking “oh was this an actual character talking?” And the last 3 hours of him speaking out the long plans 😮 good stuff.
