It's ironic! Han Hyejin etc paved the way for Soojoo's career by being the first Korean models to break into NYFW, back then. Now that the industry is way more friendly to Asian / diverse models, Soojoo's reach has surpassed her seniors. Also it helps that Soojoo speaks English so she was able to form a chatty cosy relationship with Karl Lagerfeld as his muse. And she can give lots of English magazine interviews too.
I feel so bad for all the models and the tough life they lead. But even though boss Kim can be a bit weird at times, I can see she really cares for her models. Fighting.
Srsly speaking I love how boss kim is so true about herself and also confident with her skills. Dang! The most ideal type of a boss. As a aspiring business woman I hope I could earn the respect she has built within his co-workers. I love her lol ❤

No wonder she has many long-time employees of ten years or more, although the company has only been founded 18 years ago. You'd have to be nuts to quit a company like that without a really compelling reason.
