Alan Cruz is a passionate entrepreneur, creative storyteller, and advocate dedicated to uplifting underrepresented voices. As the founder of Poderoso Media, he empowers Hispanic and Latino entrepreneurs, as well as other minority business owners, by creating platforms that address their unique challenges and amplify their stories. He also founded Gen Z Acts, a platform dedicated to bridging generational gaps by sharing the journeys of successful young adults and helping others understand one of the most misunderstood generations.
Alan’s resilience and determination define his journey. Diagnosed with Marfan syndrome, he has overcome multiple surgeries and serious health challenges, yet he remains committed to driving impact through storytelling and digital media. His path has taken him from grassroots organizing to a stint in Congress before realizing his true passion lay in entrepreneurship and digital content creation. Over the years, Alan has built and scaled multiple digital brands, engaging communities and sparking meaningful conversations.
In 2024, Alan faced yet another test of strength-retinal detachments in both eyes, requiring four surgeries and months of recovery. Instead of slowing down, he emerged with even greater purpose, now channeling his creativity into supporting mission-driven nonprofits, social enterprises, and brands that inspire change. His journey is a testament to perseverance, vision, and the power of storytelling to transform lives.
