Thank you for all your work Brad. You are my go to classical guitar instruction channel. There are so many things I like: your playing, your sound, your personality, your approach to teaching. You're talented and confident, yet not pushy or arrogant. I could go on....
Thanks really nice playable arrangement. One thing that I've found helpful in order to get that stretch from the 6th string first fret to the 1st string fifth fret is to move the elbow closer to the body it allows that stretch to be achieved by almost anyone.
Thanks again. I particularly like the crescendo section as it pulls you into the guitar. This is a perfect song to add to my solo gig set. BTW - have not seen Pimento around... my best to you!
Just bought the tabs! I am playing electric guitar for a longer time and just got into classical guitar this year. The start was bumpy and sometimes still is. Especially the fingercrossing and using nails to play. I now feel more comfy on the actual playing part and found that I am quite easily jumping some steps on your website now. I find this piece at a playable range now even though i just did the Classical Guitar Method - Vol. 1. Do you recommend that I go on with Vol 2 etc. or can I dive right into the repertoire courses? Thank you and have a good week!
Volume 2 is pretty essential because Volume 1 is just about getting people playing and enjoying the guitar while Volume 2 actually covers important skills related to playing in different keys. I certainly wouldn't skip it!
I played turmpet from 4th grade until graduing HS. How would you recommend I learn to read music to play classical guitar, like this piece? Also, I was self taught on guitar, before getting any lessons, I used the thumb to pick the bottom 2 strings and then each finger got it's own string. Should I re-learn picking to not use the pinkie finger? Or should I keep doing what I've grown accustomed to?
Different as in good or bad? Depending on the key or area of the guitar I do the eq differently to get rid of the classical guitar mid-range that is so tricky when recording.

Thanks so much, I originally made the channel for my students at the Conservatory so the tone has remained like that which I think people appreciate.
What an incredible Guitarist!
Beautifully played! Greetings from Argentina!!!!
Thank you very much! Greetings from Canada!
Beautiful and thanks for the lesson!

Thanks for watching. Yes, that is true but also most people probably have to have the guitar a bit higher and at a steeper angle as well.
Thank you teacher,I have much to learn and these lessons help.
Glad to hear that!
Thank you!

what a beautiful arrangement of this piece and not at least great playing
Thanks so much!
Great work well done!
How much would you rate this piece?
Thanks, I'd say it's firmly intermediate around grade 5 or 6 due to some counterpoint and small stretches.
bella!
I enjoyed this a lot. What level would you say this is at if you were putting it into one of your lesson books?
I'd place this firmly in the intermediate zone around grade 5 or 6 due to some counterpoint and small stretches.
Super. Which of your guitars are you using for this?

Great arrangement. This is going to see a lot of weddings! Did you move your mics? Things sound a little bit different.

@@Thisisclassicalguitar I think it sounds very nice and crisp, the gain may be ever so slightly high.
Is the guitar tab for this
Yes, it comes with both a notation edition and a separate tab edition both in the same pdf.
Lovely but I would have played it at a slower tempo
Glad you liked it. Yes, it could be interpreted slower for sure.
