Oregon Born the bottoming out is very overrated I mean after a year yeah sure it is less comfortable but I think overall it’s probably still the most comfortable shoe on the market
Have been looking to add some new sneakers to the daily rotation, focused on comfort. Hence looked at those from this video and ones others recommended. I've had at least 15 pairs of Nike Pegasus and Vomero shoes over the years, latest pair being Pegasus 34's. Tried the 36's and 37's today. Found the 36 way too soft, 37 was definitely better. Had a major issue with both pairs. The heal cup is simple too small. It was ridiculous on the 36, where it would pop off my heal at every step. The 37 was better, but heal cup was about 1/2" too low at the top of the bow. It does extend up further, but doesn't provide support where it extends up. Looked at the Presto, the Ultra Boost DNA and Ultraboost 20; just can't get into the looks of them. Tried the Epic React Flynit 2 and found it to run really small. My normal size is a 10, but usually get 10.5 for all my Jordans. Had to got to 11 to get a good fit. With a 10.5, my big toe was within 1/4" of the end of the toe box. Flynet is very tight fitting even with the laces completely loose. After walking and standing in them for a while I found them really comfortable with a soft, but very smooth and even step. Picked those up in the Black/White colorway for just $85+tax on sale as a great bargain on top of the fit. Would have still bought them if there were at the $150 full retail. Tried a couple of pairs of the New Balance 990. Great cushioning, but couldn't find the right fit. Haven't found a store yet that I can go in and try multiple widths. Would rather not order online and have to return them later. Plan to try the Hokas next. Thanks for the recommendations. Update. Continued trying more sneakers and even being fitting by a couple running experts. Tried 4 of the Hokas: Clifton, Rincon 2, Stinson and Bondi 6. Rincon's felt flat/less cushioned. Clifton has incredibly high arch support. It is the 1st shoe I have ever tried with that much arch support...too much arch support even with my high arched. Stinson is pretty awkward the first time being such a noticeably support shoe. Bondi is simply very soft and nicely uses that cushion energy to propel forward in the step. I kept find myself wanting to go faster as I wore them. Great recommendation on these and they were a buy. Just took going to a few placed to find my size in the all black colorway that seems to be sold out everywhere. Decided to try the Acics Nimbus. The one feels soft like the Bondi and Epic Adapt, except the cushioning is bouncy lifting up on the rebound and not forward like the Bondi. Continued trying more of the NBs, the 1010V5 and the 880V10. The 1010V5 is an unbelievable soft cushioned well motioned show that should be about neck to next with the Bondi 6. Only challenge is fit, which has to do with the nick and sewing line at the base of the tongue. In the morning they fit perfect, but pinch on top at the same of the tongue later in the day. Tried a wide, but feels a little to wide. Might go with these as the 3rd pair in my rotation for the times my feet are expanded or swelled a little more. Thanks again for all the recommendations.
Nike Pegasus 37 is the winner to me. I've either owned all the shoes or tried them on. The reason is the base price. The second reason is the zoom air in the forefoot. Number two for me is Crocs literide. Just buy it, you can also get it in shoe form. It's called the pacer

I got the ZoomFly 3 and for running it is super cool besides the high weight because the carbon plate does its job pretty well. But for casual use it is very, very bad for contort and stability. It is extremely narrow not just in the middle foot but also in the heel area.
I heard that in long therm it can causes your back to hurt. I own a pair and wear it on certain ocasions, never experienced anything bad and i am thinking on buying a new and modern model
I don’t hear much about the Nike Over Break in the community, I feel it is an underrated gem. It has a great react midsole and a really clean old school upper, making it easy to get on and off (I’m not much for the One piece tongue that seems to have caught on). For me, it’s a really nice combination of the best of new technology and old school nostalgia. Oh, did I mention its a crazy comfortable daily driver.
That's the swoosh they put on most of the react shoes, like the elements. If you look at the tred, instead of stars, they have the react blobs instead. It makes sense why they put that swoosh on the shoes. It's usually means reacts.
@@elBanananas what do you mean selling better? We don't know if they've flopped, they were just randomly dropped like 2 months ago without a release date. And this whole shut down has made sales hard as it is, they're fine shoes. I actually Iike to look, and would rather have something a little different, because the causal people, that make up the bulk of all sales with the all white AF1 already, probably aren't buying another identical/backup pair just because they're more comfortable; they're buying them for the look, or something similar but different. Hypebeast stopped wearing ultraboost because they weren't the look anymore. Many people with sacrifice comfort for aesthetics. So making something more comfortable won't guarantee more sales. Its sort of a bonus for people looking to get "the look".
@@gilbertoflores7397 I've meant that they would sell more pairs. People would buy Af1 react instead of normal Af1 and have the normal af1 that is so incredibly popular. The new react af1 will never beat the OG pair.

Hello! Idk if this is a weird request but can you do one of these comfort sneakers videos but for standing instead of running? I’m sure many people work long hours standing, lots of walking and random bouts of running. It would be nice to have a guide for finding comfort in that. Thanks!
People love to bash ultras as running shoes. The 19’s and 20’s are great for running and training, no question. the 4’s are too soft, but they are still the most comfortable lifestyle shoe on the market. However, If you’re going for a running shoe I’d still give the edge to top of the line nike, hoka, and saucony. mainly for the tech improvements year after year.
A.Ffirmative it’s an ugly ass shoe tho. The poopy stain on the side kills it completely. 380 is such a dope silhouette but damn the mist and alien colour ways are so ugly
Any sneaker with 10mm drop or more is a comfortable sneaker and a must have shoe for me now that I'm almost 40 years old . Ultra boost 19 , 990v5 , gel kayano 26 , zoom structure 22 are in my collection. I'll be looking into saucony , brooks and mizuno this summer.
I merchandise soda and ultraboost 20 (summer rdy. edition) is perfect for my job. My feet are never sore, even after a 12 hour shift. It's worth spending the extra money on, for sure!
Remember real "running shoes" come in 3 categories, neutral, stability and motion control. Also note that everyone's feet are different, some are neutral, some roll or collapse inward {stability} and some are flat footed {motion control}. There is technology in the sole to align your foot into a neutral position, which in turn aligns your knees, hips and back. Wearing the wrong shoe for YOUR foot can cause injuries! Always go to a running specific store where they are trained in gait analysis {watching you walk, squat, lunge without your shoes on} They are looking to see what your arch, ankles and knees do. Once you know your category you try on all the brands within that category. All major brands make shoes in those 3 categories. All brands fit differently so the goal is to match YOUR foot up with the right shoe that fits you! It's a game changer and you will be happy you took the time to do this! Gait analysis are free. Do not go to a general sporting goods store because they will not be properly trained. What works for one person won't necessarily work for you because again, everyone's feet are different!
For real, wayyyyy back in the day I bought some ASICS that I didn’t realize were stability I couldn’t even run more than a few hundred feet because how it made my ankle feel
@@XxXHardcoreshredderxXXxxxxxxxx yes! There is technology in the sole of the shoe that varies depending on the category of the shoe. All brands will fit differently even though they're within the same category, for example, in neutral, the Nike Vomero will fit differently than the ASICS Nimbus or Brooks Glycerin. Even within the same brand, neutral shoes will fit or feel differently ie: Brooks Glycerin and Brooks Ghost or Nike Vomero and Nike Pegasus. All our feet are different so you have to know what category your feet are then try on all the brands within that category and let your feet decide.

I got the ZoomFly 3 and for running it is super cool besides the high weight because the carbon plate does its job pretty well.
But for casual use it is very, very bad for contort and stability. It is extremely narrow not just in the middle foot but also in the heel area.
Nothing comes close to sketchers shoes ,not Adidas or Nike or whatever , I dont know why it's so underrated this way!
I heard that in long therm it can causes your back to hurt. I own a pair and wear it on certain ocasions, never experienced anything bad and i am thinking on buying a new and modern model
@@raquelfernandes1744 just do it 👍
They deserve every penny you put in them , I suggest you to buy the Go Walk line not the ones with straps
Pegasus 37 is an overall good shoe. You won't be disappointed 😊
i have nike pegasus 35 - amazing . looking forward to buying new ones from pegasus series
I love the Pegasus 38 air zoom
I don’t hear much about the Nike Over Break in the community, I feel it is an underrated gem. It has a great react midsole and a really clean old school upper, making it easy to get on and off (I’m not much for the One piece tongue that seems to have caught on). For me, it’s a really nice combination of the best of new technology and old school nostalgia. Oh, did I mention its a crazy comfortable daily driver.
Still love the ultraboost
Allen Harder classic
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think the Zoom Fly 3 has a carbon fiber plate. I thought that was reserved for the Vapor Fly models?
The zoom flys definitely have a plate, but not carbon fiber. I forget what it’s made out of
The new balances 992 are my favorite shoes. They are so comfy
The pegasus turbo is much more nice than the standard pegasus. I have then both
for a wide footers - the nb99v5 and the hoka bondi are the best option.
Hoping those New Balance on the left would be on the list.
What model are those?
I couldn't agree more with you on the AF1 react. Why didn't they just add react to the normal AF1... this new swoosh is just not looking good imo.
@Kristjan Bahun as a true OG head about af 1’s I absolutely hate the new af 1 react for that reason. But i love react, it’s sad 😭
That's the swoosh they put on most of the react shoes, like the elements. If you look at the tred, instead of stars, they have the react blobs instead. It makes sense why they put that swoosh on the shoes. It's usually means reacts.
@@gilbertoflores7397 I understand that yes, but I think these would be selling much better if they would be a normal af1 with react
380 is so comfortable. Glad it was slept on.
I love the ultraboost 4.0 because they look the best with any type of clothing, I have a leather pair and you could either go for a run in the rain or wear them with a casual shirt and they wouldn’t look out of place
the hurrache edge nike shoes are so comfortable to do anything in I think you should add the hurrache edge on the list next year
Thanks for the video. I thought the Sketchers Max Cushioning would have made your list.
My favourite shoe of all time are definitely the UB 20s. Also just purchased Nike Air Peg 37s for running. I’m sure they won’t disappoint. Great review. Thanks.
Hows your experience with the Nike Air Peg 37s thus far?
I'm thinking of buying the infinity run over the ultraboost 20, coz I heard it's more stable and comfier
You find the Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 more visually aesthetic than the Hoka One One Bondi 6? WOW! LOL all a matter of opinion I guess! Great video!
When it comes to real comfort it's New Balances... I be walk'n on ☁️'s!! 🤗
Try the hoka's , you'll throw the NB's out.
New balance isn't the worst💲
New Balance 990V5 is not squishy like boost but it doesn't give you foot fatigue like boost can be after walking for hours.
I think the Adidas iniki or i-5923 is the most comfortable from all the boost Adidas
Diogo Figueiredo absolutely! Very underrated shoe. Perfect for the summer.
I needed this list for when we get out of this Lockdown
Hello! Idk if this is a weird request but can you do one of these comfort sneakers videos but for standing instead of running? I’m sure many people work long hours standing, lots of walking and random bouts of running. It would be nice to have a guide for finding comfort in that. Thanks!
Thank you!!!!
I love my adidas pure boost for any task tbh
People love to bash ultras as running shoes. The 19’s and 20’s are great for running and training, no question. the 4’s are too soft, but they are still the most comfortable lifestyle shoe on the market. However, If you’re going for a running shoe I’d still give the edge to top of the line nike, hoka, and saucony. mainly for the tech improvements year after year.
Considering the quality of Nike shoes now I have switched over to Skechers. Most underrated and most comfortable
Nike and Adidas fan boy, great
I'm so glad I bought the Ultraboost 20 at 50% discount! 😃
the 380 mist is slept on as hell, you can get them for under retail
A.Ffirmative it’s an ugly ass shoe tho. The poopy stain on the side kills it completely. 380 is such a dope silhouette but damn the mist and alien colour ways are so ugly
Love the vid Seth, but definitely didn't expect the Birkenstocks at number 1...
Great presentation. Thanks
I merchandise soda and ultraboost 20 (summer rdy. edition) is perfect for my job. My feet are never sore, even after a 12 hour shift. It's worth spending the extra money on, for sure!
roszko has been running in 350
Remember real "running shoes" come in 3 categories, neutral, stability and motion control.
Is that why nike airmax 95s are super comfy for me and super uncomfy for others?
Glad to see Nike React Presto here :)
Some stores don't stock hoka 💲
Loved the UB19 so I gotta get me the UB20s. Also the Pegasus hasn’t really been on my radar at all previously but this vid kinda peaked my interest so I’ll definitely considered getting them soon. Also I’ve heard that the AF1 Reacts are really comfortable but how do they compare to the AF1 Ultra Flyknit? I have those and to me they are by far the most comfortable AF1 I’ve worn
Love your vids
Well done Seth! My pick was the NB 990V5. Why? I have a wide foot, the NB was the most comfortable, required no break in period. I liked the 990, I picked up a second pair, all black.
i definitely was unaware of that Hoka line. Saw 2 of my coworkers on the floor in these and they look super comfortable 🤔
What a great video. Thank you.
Lol at the Crocs part. Thanks for the list Seth!
I had a pair of New Balances but I accidentally left my window open at night and Ryan Gosling flew into my room and took them while I was sleeping.
hate when that happens
Grabbed the boost 19 and the presto reacts last year can’t wait to see what’s up this year!! Why does the original boost 19 color way the shoe version of Seth Fowler. 😂💪 👟
The Pegasus Turbo is made with ZoomX foam from the Vaporflys, so they should be more comfortable in theory. Nike is killing it in the running world right now. The Vaporfly is by far the most popular shoe with long distance runners these days.
pretty solid 10S🥇
