  • In this video - I install a pair of 18" Air King shop fans in the third bay.
It has been so hot over the last few years during the summer - a change was needed. To help cool down the third bay - I picked up a set of these Air King Fans and set them up.

The "bouncing" is a harmonic thing, usually caused by a blade that is slightly out of balance. I wouldn't worry about it. Basically every commercial fan I've ever seen has a very slight vibration/bounce. The 14" one I have in my garage does it too.

Those have been up for 5+ years - and not had any major issues.

I have 3 of those air king fans. One bounced a lot when set on medium. Has yours reduced in bouncing?

I have the speed preset on high - I haven't really changed the speed since I installed them.

Hey bro did the wall bracket come with the fan? I just bought one and didn’t come with it.

Yes - when I ordered both from Amazon - both came with the wall bracket. If it didn't that sucks - I was about to order another pair.

I just leave it on high and plug it into the power strip along my work bench.

lol this fan is like 12 lbs man, those lag bolts are such overkill. seriously, a couple deck screws and a washer.

They are more then 12 pounds - and I would use the recommended hardware that's mentioned in the instructions.

I thought the same, as well as the overkill drawing diagram on wall, LOL, drive a deck screw thru, eye up the bracket and zip one more in....Those huge lags probably split the 1 3/4 stud they're driven into

Are the fans plugged into wall outlets ? Would it be safe to plug them into extension cords ?
