i found your video randomly and i now need to learn how to sew lol. great video, i dont know any other channels in the pet community (as a pet youtuber thats a lot) that do sewing for piggies, so cool.
Very cool!!! How long did it actually take you to sew all from this video? ♥️ your sewing machine. I have the Juki TL2010Q and it has the long extension board. I love using it too along with the knee latch. Saving my $$$ to get your machine. 😍
Hi lovely, love watching your video’s. I was wondering though why you have so much fabric waste . You cut a lot off when lining all the pieces together then another inch when sewing.
Thank you! I use all my scraps for my rats, they love to barrow in it. Also it allows more room for mistakes. My videos are more focused for beginners. I think also too when sewing through thick layers its very difficult to keep a straight line if you sew too close to the edge. But a 1 inch inseam always works for me.
@@GuineaPiggiesDesigns oh I get what you mean the fabrics always moved around no matter how many clips you add! I was just thinking about profits is all and how many more pads you could make x
@@sewingchatterbox I am a non profit, so making profit really doesnt matter to me. But yes the fabric does move around once you remove the clips so its much easier just to leave a bigger seam allowance. :)
Hi. Are there any tips for sewing through foam? I use a denim needle, but it's still a struggle. I've even tried adjusting tension and using different threads.
