I’ll never forget the day I took my new 2017 RMZ450 to the track, my corner speed and confidence shot through the roof. The bike makes it so easy to dart into that inside line
Most people judge bikes based on reviews and the experts who typically review them. This review had an average guy who loved it, which I liked to see. Suzuki's are the easiest of all the brands to jump on and feel comfortable. They are great handling bikes that are easy to feel good on. That's the most important part to me is handling/comfort. I love Suzuki's and the way they ride. They're super reliable as well. Kawasaki is my other go to brand. I've always felt that both Suzuki and Kawi have that comfortable feeling over the other brands. My first bike ever was a Yamaha YZ85 and it was the number 1 bike that year based on every review. Immediately I did not feel comfortable on the Yamaha, it felt very aggressive. I then sold it and got a Kawasaki kx85. On the Kawi I was immediately comfortable and fast. Suzuki is the other brand that I noticed this instant comfort with. Ever since that point, I'll only buy Kawi and Suzuki.
Just purchased a 2021 RM-Z450 last Saturday, such an amazing bike, handles like nothing I've ever had or rode before. I get such a kick out of all the folks on VITAL MX dogging it or how the magazines "say without saying" it's trash. I'm happy I was able to support an amazing manufacturer and our sport by purchasing a new bike. **Insert RM ARMY DAP DOWN HERE**
I ride a 2016 rmx450 and its been magic, valves never need adjustment pulls well always starts first throw. I think suzuki is the only company who truly understands what motorcycling is about. They are supposed to be fun, reliable, accessible and usable. All the manufacturers just keep pushing the price up and up and making them peakier and harder to ride for a long time etc and it defeats the purpose of motorcycling. The average weekend warrior should jump straight on a suzuki, save the money for track entry and fuel for the truck and bike. Ride more.
Yes. For someone who just want ride sometimes kick start is super. Just take a bike, kick and go. Not like, going to ride and then you need someone who pull your bike because battery is empty.
@@mcchoco1019 My sentiments 👍 I just believe the heavy electronics and e start don't belong on the dirt but I'm not hating anyone who has it or likes it
@@garethcrothersmx Suzuki needs to put there money in max. He is no joke. Most will look at his supercross results and dismiss Max but we will all see what he is capable of come outdoors 2021
That was awesome letting one of us regular Joe's ride it and give an opinion. You should definitely do this for more brands! That's more relatable than the opinion of a dude thats super fast haha 😄
I had Suzuki's as a kid. I have spent countless hours and dollars trying to get comfortable on other brands of bikes and never could. I'm going back to Suzuki.
In my eyes and i have seen Rozcen rise-up on the mx gp circuit and battleing with Herlings in Lierop, he looked the best on Suzuki. Some people are build for certain bikes.
I had an 09 Rmz 450 and I loved that bike. Now I have a yz250 2 stroke. Nothing turned like that Suzuki did. The new one sounds corked up compared to my 09. Does the zook still fall flat on its face up top or does it have some more pull ?
Funny, Suzuki has more recent premier titles than Honda & Yamaha. Roczen's last ever title came on a Zuk then he proceeded to crash out on the Honda pretty quickly. Question for you Dr. Keefer is how many years back can I go for the same bike? 2018?
My Rmx250 99 model is one of the best bikes I've rode and I've rode a few ktm520 ktm300 crf450 rmz250 and 450 .The only bike I've rode that would destroy it Is as cr500 and yz426. But wouldn't buy orwantto own anything else.
For the price you get the Suzuki you can use the extra $2k you have and set the bike up the way you want it, engine, exhaust, and suspension mods you want, tires, etc. Then you have a great bike made for you, not some factory set up for $10k. I would rather get a bike for $8k and spend the other $2k to set it up my way, Then it will be just as good as any KTM, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, etc. If not better, because it is set up to your weight and riding style.
So what I'm hearing you say is that you essentially had nothing to say about suzuki so let's find somebody/anybody to say something/anything!?!?!?! Lol
@@DGfilms1996 what's wrong with me for saying the bike was comfortable for him because the stock suspension is way to soft for his weight??? He should of had a guy who the stock suspension is rated for test it

Bought my 2013 rmz250 brand new and haven’t had a single issue with mine. EVER.
Only issue with my 2019 rmz 450 is the forks.....can't keep fluid in them since day one
Thank you Suzuki for still making a Kickstart equipped bike! So annoyed by all the electronics!
Irony?
