Thanks for the video, wrap definitely has its pros and cons. Its one of the most accessible mods any car enthusiast can do with a great rewards. With regards to the 3 cars on thumbnail. All of them looks really good. But the E92 M3 looks timeless, maybe its the power dome on the hood or the classic rings in the headlights everything is well proportioned, its gorgeous. Still, in my opinion the E46 M3 still looks the best. But its certainly close.
Jon, what would you say are some of the downsides of wrapping a car long term even if you don’t cut any corners with material and which shop you go to? I’ve seen things being said about duration you can leave them on with regards to paint damage.
Thanks man, video is great! Question though, I've got chrome trim around windows and a little here and there. I want it black, buying black trim is rather expensive so looking to wrap it. How does wrap hold up for trim?
That’s the thing I hate about wraps. Everyone talks good about wraps, but every time I see one in person it’s always pretty poorly done 🥲 cause I think you have to go pretty $$$ for it to look good, but I think most go for a budget wrap choice
10 k for paint ??? I’ve only ever heard of super high end multi step processes for shows or collectors costing that much, I could be off or behind the times but the last time I got a quote on a full paint job they said generally expect to pay $2500.00-$3000.00 depending on prep & body work needed. That kind of price for a wrap makes me think “ummm… nope, paint instead. Again maybe I’m just not in the loop, I like the idea of a wrap for being able to change it out but if cost as much or more than paint I just can’t see it. Yours looks great but that is just a lot of money imo.
My m3 will cost at minimum, 8k to paint. My buddy just spent 14k on his r34 skyline paint job. I would never trust a 3k paint job. I’m talking engine bay, door jams, the entire car as well

Hate to be that guy but I didn’t have a good experience with tint at sunsational. Maybe a off or experience and what not, but had to say something.
Was considering getting my F30 wrapped, thx for the info and insight on what to look for.
How long does the wrap last?
My e46 needs paint work been debating wrap or just touching it up. Clear coat peeling in some areas
Yup that was my e36
5K? Looks like I’m only going to wrap the roof on my m2
Very honest review like always 👏

Honestly I’d paint it with trim paint. Prep, sand very fine grit, clean with alcohol tape off and spray

3k paint job where do you live
A high quality paint job for a concours restoration is 25k plus.
BTW, The paint alone cost more than $2,500.
@@ThicWhips i paid 8k for my 90k mile clean title e36 m3 😓😓😓😓😓about 8 months ago 😓
