I think having the concept of zombies was a clever choice as it could also imply the "dead love". Obviously it's also very fitting for a retro concept so it plays nicely for either. The song is also amazing. Sunmi has been releasing bop after bop, and she keeps doing it
Even though he’s a zombie, he didn’t attack her. Maybe it symbolizes he’s a rare one that didn’t mean to hurt her initially and never would intentionally (even if he became a zombie). Too cute.

She’s portraying a toxic relationship, where he does her dirty and is considered dead to her, but won’t leave her alone. But in the end she relents and goes back to him, and in the final shot there are sirens like a warning and he is literally a criminal, but she still chooses to stay with him. Beautifully portrayed in an unconventional way, and clever use of the zombie trope to depict an ex that won’t leave you alone.
