I tried that with a Redmi 9 pro I hard bricked and it short circuited and I smelt smoke and that was the end of it. I loved the Mi9. I made a mistake by putting China firmware on it for a GSI to work. I forgot the China rules and when I tried to switch back to a global custom ROM the cell thought it was a China phone as it had China firmware and hard bricked. It's still in pristine condition and probably only needs it's battery replaced if it can be unbricked? Any suggestions or do I have to open up the cellphone and find points on the motherboard?
