- Desert racer at the vert park? Good gosh what a little ripper!!! I was wrong thinking the Mojave wouldn't be best for the skatepark. Fun factor was off the hook. She was a smooth and agile performer that left me super impressed. Big thanks to Fast Track Hobbies in Rocklin for the wonderful inventory and new friend Daniel for ripping it up out there on his board.
My bad.... running 1 mil in the center diff. She's a ripper 😍. Was using Ovonic 5200mah 100c 4s hard packs. No breakages, just need a better solder joint on the blue motor wire 🍻
I remember the older Outcast 6s skatepark videos, how does it compare?
The Outcast is a better stunter no question, but both rigs are mad fun 😍

Man. I’m an Appraiser down in Modesto and spent a week training at the Assessor’s Office right there and had no clue that skatepark was there. I would have brought my rig up. Awesome stuff as usual!

Could've talked with him for hours if we'd had more time. He grew up in SoCal witnessing DogTown firsthand while I was NorCal near Bones Brigade members like Caballero. Both of us skated Derby Park in Santa Cruz among other infamous spots 😱. Seeing him carving the 3/4 pipe got me stoked to pad up again 🍻. It's been about 3-4 years since I skated this spot so I'm due 😂. The Mojave 4s is friggin awesome!!! Hope you enjoy yours to the fullest Bro. 😎💪👊👊

And btw, I shoe goo and taped my body and haven’t had the body get jammed since then, idk if that directly helped or not but doubt it was coincidence!
Thanks so much for the feedback Brother 👊. I did notice the front hood is cracked along the seam and can totally see how stiffening the entire bonett would likely prevent it from flexing down and getting jammed up. I'm using E6000 and Fibatape next outing 🍻

Hey Rich, what do you think about Big Rock rear shocks front and rear of a 6s Mojave? I got some coming to try out.
I'm honestly not sure Brother 🤔. Haven't owned the Mojave 6s so I'm not sure how the front shocks lengths compare.

I absolutely love taking mine to the skate park. I was doing some massive sends and the only damages were the velcro straps and one arm pulled out. Over 8 packs of torture that day and less than $30 in repairs.
Such an awesome platform and crazy durable 🤩. Definitely more fun at the skatepark than anticipated 🤗

Lots of very slick skilled driving there buddy. Especially the loop, amazing.
We worked hard on chassis durability so people don’t need to spend their hard earned on extra braces. Fitting one would imply it’s needed which would be a shame 😢

That clicking is just the center shaft banging around in the bearing support. No biggy
I think these trucks sometimes come with tight mesh too. I made sure to set proper lash with my Robinson Racing 16T.
@richduperbash2966 ah, I haven't had any meshing issues. They break in well. All I know is when I hold the truck in the air, throttle out, and hold that center bearing tight, the sound completely goes away 🙂👍

Just got the Outcast 4s v2.5. What center diff do you recommend? I only got 500k at home and seen some say it's too low and that you need 2M... 😮🤔

Do you think this is as good or better for all around bashing than a V2.5 4s Kraton or Outcast? Is there any reason to own all 3? Is there enough difference or is having one of them enough?
Great question Brother 👊. The Mojave is radically different in handling and overall bashing experience from the others. It's much more responsive and arguably more fun for general anywhere ripping around 😍. I love my V2 Outcast 4s, but couldn't see getting the K4s. Just not enough difference between the 2 honestly aside from a little added wheelbase. The O4s is a superb stunter.
Help me understand the fuel tubing on the front shock. You said it’s placed under the piston around the shaft but there is a boot there… I can’t see any tubing. What is the tubing doing? I’m trying to understand… when the truck bottoms out isn’t it the frame/chassis hitting the ground? What’s the purpose of the fuel tubing?
You are shortening the shock length physically by putting fuel tubing on the shaft (within the shock body) under the piston. There's no boot on the inside, just the outer part of the shaft has a shock boot. The pistons physically stop at the bottom of the shock stroke. You're shortening the stroke (length of travel) with the tubing.

All that graffiti sucks, shame people waste all that paint creating filth.
I would rather they do it at the skate park to keep them occupied then going around town painting buildings and bridges ect ect. Ultimately I would rather they not do it at all but it’s better at the skate park then other places
The skatepark is absolutely the place for graffiti so long as it’s not overly offensive. Better there than anywhere else
