Great video, Sam. I am just in the process of removing the bulk head, rerouting the big wire loom going to the back of the van and will now pre-run cabling to the tweeters as well. Much easier in a "naked" van. Watching your videos (and others) on the subjects of electrics / lighting / accessories will make life so much easier. Perhaps I'll be putting in a couple of later unneeded wires, but adding cabling later is always a pain. THANK YOU! 😊👍 Stay safe. 🚐⛅🍀
How do, Sam. I have to admit, I never liked the OG stero in Viv-I-van so I changed it for one of those floaty head tesla style stereos in her. The sound has never been very good-mainly cos of crap spearkers( only two in the doors) so doing catch up on your channel, I came across this video and its now made me want to replace the speakers in the doors and try to have some more behind me. You're spot on about sound never sounding the same when you remove the bulkhead. My head unit allows for rear speakers but means I have to then get an amplifier etc. I'm just not electrically minded so possibly I'm going to have to get it done by someone else. Great video though. I wish I had your skills. Bessy regs and Happy New year-Kenny
I only learned by trying mate many years ago I couldn't afford to pay for people to do work for me so I learned, now I can afford it I don't trust people to to a good job😂
I removed my stereo so I can fit halo 9 I remember taking the van to Mercedes to turn on rear channels I’m currently having problems wiring existing reverse camera and mic
High passed means the tweeters only see high frequencys so that they dont blow with a fullrange signal. They possibly have a capaciter already fitted which acts as a high pass filter. I love the build keep the camera roling in 2024 and safe travels @@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife
It was lovely how chuffed you were with them Sam, may consider that in my van
They make a massive difference, and now the vents are quite it's even better
Thank you for all your lovely comments
Hi Sam thanks for this video i am just about to start my speaker upgrade as i have this same problem with my crafter. The sound in your van is great.
It's made driving a pleasure again 😁👍
Nice upgrade, we all need them in our vans to hide the road noise and squeaks, will be installed soon, cheers for another great vid

It's definitely easier to install cables before you need them rather than afterwards but I do enjoy the challenge of trying to find a route through 😁

Brilliant video Sam…the cupboard above the seating area always looks bigger on camera, impressive how well you did it, I nearly got stuck in ours 🤣👍🏼🍻
I should have recorded me trying to push Lisa in there that would have got some comments 🤣🤣🤣
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife 🤣🤣🤣 I shouldn’t laugh, she won’t be impressed with this behaviour 😬🍻
I haven't seen you have upgraded the speakers in the doors and the tweeters on the left and riht side of the dash, and the middle speaker. did you?
No I was happy with them to be honest can you recommend any if I do ?
Nice job there Sam how have the tweeters been high passed ?
They are great, not sure what high passed means sorry
