I have a different model of the pix-link but the instructions are close enough to be able to set it up. I had thrown my unit in the rubbish bin after trying for hours to get it working according to the manufacturer's instructions. Then I saw this video and actually got the item working within a few minutes. Great video.

when i finish it and I try to connect into the repeater, it says "Connected, no Internet" and sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt... what could it be?

Hi must the wifi repeater be plugged next to your existing router to get a good signal when connect to the repeater?

então ele cria outra rede "ssid" isso é bem legal. Pra quem não quer dá acesso da rede principal.
So it only works if you log into the _ext? If I rename it to my router name will it just boost the signal? I bought it strictly to boost the signal within my house from my old modem/router, but then I bought a new router during the time this was shipping, so this might not even been needed anymore. I don't want to create a sub router within my house, I just want it to boost the signal of what is already there.
By "boost" do you mean range or speed?

Why does it add that _EXT at the end of the SSID. That's causing my devices not to roam properly.
Can this be done without being connected to cellular network?

I bought this device but now regretting it. It was listed as a wifi booster but does it really do the job of boosting the strength of the wifi signal? Comments on RUclips says no.

Its not connecting.... Its stuck at "obtaining IP" when I try and connect a device. Signal is excellent, speed is over, 100 mbps. After more trys I get: IP configuration failure.

In case someone get the same problem with me, I tried to setup this repeater with my laptop via ethernet cable it wont work idk why. Just reset it by pressing the hole in the repeater and setup this thing from mobile like in this video and it will work. Thanks for the vid btw

Hi sr, I configured my WR09 as "Wireless AP Mode", and works fine, but after 10 hours, the wireless signal is lost, when checking the WE09, the ligh of wireless is off. To fix this problem, I disconnect and connect the WE09, and again works fine. but after a time fails again. Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?. Thanks

with a 200mbs internet connection, what is the speed that this thing can relay? i see it has a ethernet port at the bottom of the unit?
I have a 100Mbit connection, I use wirelessly this repeater connected to my asus router and speeds can go up max 24Mbit/s.
It all worked till asking for final password - it just keeps saying incorrect but it isn't?

Did not work....mine came with no password and the website requires a password when it actually works.

Its all good now, the problem i was having wasnt a big deal. My wf password had special characters which arent supported by the amplifier so i just changed the password and it works perfectly now, phenomenal performance!
Mine was also laike this how to fix? My passwords are just all small letters but it says password incorrect

Joshua Nikoleini not sure if you figured it out yet, but the password is on the back of your extender. Once I found that, everything else worked

Hi, I'm done configuring mine, and it's easy. but my question is. is there a way to make the wifi transfer rate a lot faster? specifications it says 300mpbs. but I can only get max 10mpbs. may internet speed is 35mpbs. i tried to test the repeater next to my main router and the maximum it can give is only 10mbps.

you need to have base 300 from your actual router for it to utilize it

This device with the latest 2018-06-22 firmware has a bad software bug. If you turn off the internal DHCP server so that your main access-point/router supplies all the IP addresses, then the LV-WR09 connects and runs OK. But if the access-point/router is then switched off, after a while the LV-WR09 will crash. A power cycle will repeat this behaviour. All attempts to contact PIX-Link (Lavid Technology) have been futile. They never seem to respond to customer support requests !
