Makes one weep at the crispness and the beautiful accompaniment. As I listen, a distant relation of the Crow- an Australian Currawong, hops around my deck looking through my window at me eating a slice of toast- He's a chubby chap, and implores me to share the crusts. As the music makes for a melancholic me, I share and he takes the crust , consumes and then obliges my handrail with his autograph- So much for serendipity on an early Autumn afternoon in Australia.
Exzellente Technik! Sehr schöne Stimme! Intensive Interpretation ohne überflüssige Gestik! Gitarrenbegleitung bewundernswert!
Wunderbar. Das is alle das ich sagen kann. Not just because my German is limited, I'm literally speechless. Thank you. As a Schubert fan, an amateur singer and a Winterreise obsessed.
Wonderful! A beautiful singing voice and the guitar sings superbly too. I'm very impressed. Apparently Schubert could play the guitar too. He certainly would have appoved.
This is very beautiful. I really love the guitar accompaniment. It works really well with on this song cycle. I tried looking it up on Amazon to see if could g
Oops didn't finish. I wanted to say that I was trying to find the sheet music for the guitar part. Learning even part of it would be a great addition to my bucket list.
48:24 my favourite part :D What a nice interpretation of the crow reflected in the protagonist. Also the last piece, beautiful interpretation. Love it!
This is fantastic, first time I've seen it done on guitar. But it shouldn't surprise us too much; there are at least a couple of paintings of Schubert playing a guitar.
No one ever captured the burning desire for Spring and for new life to arrive better than the Austrian-German Schubert did in 1827 just shortly before he died in the especially cold Winter of 1828. Schubert was known as and was called "Schwammerl" (which actually aren't in the Winter), wrote mostly songs, and was a great fan of "that red-headed Lute player (Jack Bach)." This collection depicts VERY ACCURATELY how Schubert heard & then wrote his musical ideas. Schubert wrote his music on guitar because he tried but could never play the piano. He called this one, "May the Winter Please Die?" Then, he did die. This is one of his best musics, and I think here VERY authentically & well-performed!

The whole Winterreise with GUITAR? This is NEXT LEVEL! Thank you! With tenor this works perfectly!

I've never heard this with a guitar accompaniment until today and I love it! Great playing and singing!
Sensationell. Unglaublich.
This one thing makes the internet worthwhile.

Beautiful interpretation. It is a joy to listen this version.
Fascinante, gracias.
so gut

The crow and the last song are my favourites. ❤
amazing performance !!!! Bravissimi !!!!!
Vielen Dank, wunderschoene Interpretation!
very nice!!!
Incroyable... !!!
Splendido!

His voice is not well supported.
