    Right on man, thank you!
How about a video on those rebar tongs? I think you had it on the other channel but that was then and this is now. I believe that's how I found your channel was looking for rebar videos.🤔
Anyway, thanks again man, I'll give it a shot...especially the candle wax!

I’d be happy to try those out again! I never made a video on that personally, but my friend did I believe. They’re a good build to go over!

@@ToddKoch I would surely get a lot out of it... even though you're left handed and will probably roll your steel to better fit your grip. I've heard that there is a difference between right and left handed from Black Bear Forge but I have a hard time following him sometimes.

We’ll I will for sure try it out! It might even be next weeks video… my planned video fell through and is going to have to be put back a week or two

Hooks are fun to make and are very useful. I finish a lot of the ones I make by brushing them while they are still hot with a brass brush then spraying a clear acrylic on them. Paste wax, bees wax, boiled linseed oil, the list goes on and on for different finishes you can achieve. Thanks for posting this video.

Thanks for the comment, and I agree they’re way fun and useful! I’ve never tried that kind of a finish, but I might soon because I love to find new ways to do things!

@@ToddKoch If you distress the body of the hook a bit it also makes it look older than what it is. Square off a section and add a twist, etc. Thats the fun part, finding different ways to do things.

I agree, I do love to add some flair to hooks. I need to practice it, so I didn’t want to give out any false info in this video

@@ToddKoch No problem, I appreciate that.
