While I find HIGNFY entertaining they have occasional guests and guest chairs that were clearly a disastrous choice from the start Gary Neville as chair was clearly a bad choice, he is slow witted and couldn’t even land the autocues jokes that had been preplanned and rehearsed, let alone respond meaningfully to any of the panellists. It can be entertaining to see powerful people being deflated and embarrassed on the show but the Gary Neville programme was just a cringe from start to finish.
Agreed. I almost feel bad for him. In later seasons, HIGNFY used that clip of Neville talking about his weekends/vacations as"mini retirements," like he has created a new way to think about time. Nothing political about that video--they used the clip because his stupidity shines. Yes, I watch too much HIGNFY.
