Right?? Dude was super underrated. His short tag team run with Hurricane was so dope. The RVD tag team was also cool but I loved that weird dynamic with Hurricane.
Kane's Hatred of the date May 19th. Fictionally, it had something to do with his "parents" "burning" in an unfortunate fire. But to me, and I'm sure other fans as well, it has a lot to do with Kevin Nash and The MSG Curtain Call Incident. Vince McMahon sacrificed Glenn Jacobs and TURNED him into the "Fake Diesel" as a direct jab to WCW. It's not like his run as Isaac Yankem was any better because it wasn't. So, both Triple H and Glenn Jacobs were punished for the events of May 19, 1996. Punished for Breaking Kayfabe and Punished for being "Fake Diesel".
I liked Kane as a kid starting in 2006. Didn’t know much about his last. The billed hometown of Isaac Yankem, May 19th, and him being the mayor in Tennessee are all extremely relevant to me
The Spear was Edge's first WWE move, but you forgot to mention that it was also the first move he did in his 2020 comeback when he dashed into the Royal Rumble.
I don’t think the runner up getting a title match is a coincidence. I think that’s just good booking. Ideally, a good Rumble final two are the two biggest non-world champs in the company. It makes sense for the 2nd place guy to get a shot at a title if there’s two of them. They’re just giving us two matches we want to see.
I can see where you’re coming from, but the whole point of the Rumble is that the winner earns the right to challenge for the title, a right which means very little if they could also have lost.
Thank you for including the bankers life/shields coincidence. As someone who lives in Indiana and has been to numerous events in that building. I’ve been trying to tell other wrestling fans this and they didn’t believe me. For the key role of farm, look for the Indiana Pacers logo in the background of each video. You can see it right before Seth delivers the chair to Roman in the break up clip.
I don’t think it’s really a coincidence though as much as it was an actual plan on WWE’s part. They book what venues they are going to be at months in advance, which gives them plenty of time to have the story line up perfectly to take place at the exact arena each time.
@@rhionpinto6849 I do agree with you with some of the things you said. Yes you are correct that WWE books shows at least 3 to 4 months out. Normally they do this because they are uncertain of what events are also happening in that arena around that time (i.e sporting event or concert). Usually WrestleMania is the lone exception to this as they usually do Smackdown, NXT Stand & Deliver, WrestleMania, and Raw all in the same city on the same weekend. The only thing I disagree with is that commentary team never recognizes all 3 events happening in that arena. They only recognize Seth and Roman’s onscreen debut at Survivor Series.
Kane debuted his half face mask in 2002 at Madison Square Garden, and lost it in the following June at the same place. Austin's coronation in 1998 was the night Shawn retired... Shawn's return in June 2002 coincided with the last time Austin was seen on TV before the walkout in the following week... and Austin's final match in 2003 was on the same night Shawn had a match which was instrumental in him deciding he could do a full schedule again. Shawn's retirement speech on the RAW following Mania 2010 was on March 29th, exactly 12 years to the day of his first one. Rock lost his penultimate world title to a Paul Heyman guy and won his last world title from another Paul Heyman guy. Eddie's last PPV match was at the Toyota Center in Houston, the same place Benoit was booked to fight Punk on the weekend where... IT happened. Also, Benoit's last match before he went off for neck surgery in 2001 was on the same day of his passing six years later. The Streak began on The Undertaker's birthday. Austin and Angle fought each twice for the world title on TV/PPV in 2001 at San Jose. The first one in January had Angle as heel champion and Austin as the face challenger. The second at SummerSlam had Austin as heel champion and Angle as the face challenger. Both matches ended in disqualifcation, but unlike many cases with such finishes, they were certified bangers. Batista has thrice entered the Rumble at number 28 (2003, 2005, 2014), the latter two times, he won. HHH entered the Rumble in 2002 at number 22, with 8 more guys left to enter. He entered the 2010 one at number 8, leaving 22 yet to enter. Both events were in the Philips Arena in Atlanta (okay, this one's not that freaky).
The Shield definitely wasnt a coincidence. They were for sure keeping tabs on that and decided to make those moves once they got back to the arena that year.
This one goes a little outside of wrestling but worth bringing up On May 23, 1998 the episode Over The Edge of The New Batman Adventures aired and in the episode Batgirl falls to her death but it's later reveled it was a fear toxin induced vision Exactly one year later May 23, 1999, the WWF PPV Over The Edge would take place where Owen Hart would fall to his death
Something to add onto the Owen Hart death coincidence. The 10 bell salute Tribute to Brain Pillman on Raw the day after his death the previous night takes place in the same arena Owen Hart would later die in 2 years later and during the 10 bell moment of silence Owen Hart is the first wrestler shown on the close up that the camera pans to.

The entire RAW episode before Over the Edge 1999 (AKA the night Owen Hart fell).Feathered a superstar being carried off in a ambulance, a superstar being lifted into the rafters, and a coffin.
Another thing about Mania 10, 20, and 30, it all involved 3 people in the main event. X wasn't a Triple Threat, but there were still 2 #1 Contenders. One that nobody wanted but seemed perfect for WWE (Lex Luger, Shawn Michaels, Batista). Pretty wild.

Another bizarre coincidence is the SmackDown Vs Raw curses. And there were TWO SmackDown vs Raw curses. SVR curse 1, the injury curse for a cover star SmackDown vs Raw had Vince McMahon on the cover, who would later tear both his quads in the Royal Rumble 2005 segment with Cena and Batista. SmackDown vs Raw 2006 had Cena and Batista on the cover, Batista would suffer an injury in December 2005 that kept him out for 6 months. SmackDown vs Raw 2007 had Triple H on the cover, who would later tear his quad at New Years Revolution 2007, keeping him out for 7 months. SmackDown vs Raw 2008 had Cena, Taker and Lashley on the cover, and Cena would get injured keeping him out for a for 3 to 4 months until he returns at Royal Rumble 2008. And SVR curse 2, the Undertaker death curse. In SmackDown vs Raw 2006, Taker and Eddie feud in the season mode, just weeks after SVR 06 comes out Eddie sadly passes. In SmackDown vs Raw 2007, Taker and Benoit feud in the season mode, and obviously Benoit would later sadly do what he did.

Kane's impact since his debut hasn't been matched again...the aura, the storylines, the mystique...and he did it all as barely being a Heavyweight Champion.
You dont get it. Triple H in 2003 facing off the top WCW guys only to lose the title to Benoit at Mania 20 and having end the night with Eddie in the ring was the middle finger to WCW by saying "See you never put over Benoit like that but we did after HHH buried all their stars except Benoit who was mistreated".

Eddie being shown in a casket in Smackdown vs Raw 06 that came out the year he died then the ominous line by Taker in 07 about Benoit.
What was the ominous line?
No Mercy 1999 and Raw during the last Nitro were both held in the same arena in Cleveland. Jeff Jarrett more or less lost his WWE job twice in the same exact place.
Wrestlemania 40 is gona be one of those event again that feel bigger than they should , & this time it’s most likely looking like Cody Rhodes will finish the story of capturing that one champion his dad never won , Cody will put the Rhodes name in wwe’s legacy permanently nobody will forget the last name Rhodes after he finishes the story for his dad , RIP Dusty
and cody will be the one to dethrone roman.
Give it to LA Knight instead! YEAH!!
@@itsdannygonzales that would be awsome but it doesn’t fit the story to make it bigger than it should how Cody’s story will
@@gas4717 i know.
There's TWO ✌ main titles now
And at WrestleMania 40, Cody will be the fourth baby face to win the wwe world title. 👀🤯
Bro WrestleMania 40 is doing the same with Cody as a fan favourite like Daniel in 30 and forcing WWE to change the decision of Rock v Roman 💀🤯
And at wrestlermania, 40 Cody is taking the title from Roman Reigns
and would you look at that.
Wrestlemania 40 Continued the Trend.
The entire RAW episode before Over the Edge 1999 (AKA the night Owen Hart fell).Feathered a superstar being carried off in a ambulance, a superstar being lifted into the rafters, and a coffin.
3:21 Paul bearer is thee fucking epitome of of a mad scientist 😂
here after wrestlemania 40 and tradition goes with cody rhodes winning it big
Another thing about Mania 10, 20, and 30, it all involved 3 people in the main event. X wasn't a Triple Threat, but there were still 2 #1 Contenders. One that nobody wanted but seemed perfect for WWE (Lex Luger, Shawn Michaels, Batista). Pretty wild.
It's gonna happen again at 40 with Roman, Cody, and LA Knight.
@@James-if3kcit didn’t
Yeah I know. Thought it might have been a triple threat with The Rock for a while, but that didn't happen either. They broke tradition.
WM 20 : Chris Benoit faced former DX member in triple threat
WM 30 : Daniel Bryan faced former Evolution member in triple threat
WM 40 : Cody Rhodes may be facing former Shield member in triple threat
Who's the third??
@@davidparkes7741if Rollins drop the title due to the MITB cash in, it's likely that he hasn't finished with both Cody and Roman. The Triple Treat between Reigns VS Rhodes VS Rollins would be awesome.
P.S : Hey you know what? If these three men face each other, there would be a "Triple tReat" becuz they also have "R" in their last name xD 😅
whats even crazier (if rumors are to be belived) is that at mania 40 next year roman v cody (for title) is planned to be the main event. Imagine
Yep and similar to the Cena/Rock matches.
Mr Kennedy would go on to call his last match with Eddie Guerrero an unfortunate honor 🙏🏽
Kane actually won world title in 2008, ecw title at wm 24
Nice video need part 2
Those are some super interesting tidbits especially that Mr. Kennedy one that’s crazy
I came across this video after watching WrestleMania XL and I've got to say that they did do that decade long coincidence of a strong babyface closing the show with a win .
I won't debate about the technical wrestler part but still that's kind of a big 'Coincidence' ❤🎉
Extremely important episode, not one off. Things here are essential.
RiP Eddie Guerrero & Eddy Fatu. This was great, very knowledgeable video
Edge didn't break his opponents neck in his first match, he ended up with pinched nerves. Edge himself confirmed this
21-0 streak will never die and be remebered forever
Thank For The Top 10 Video 🙊🤯😃😍👍🥰💐🌟🥇🏆
The pedigree is my favorite finishing move
Another bizarre coincidence is the SmackDown Vs Raw curses. And there were TWO SmackDown vs Raw curses.
SVR curse 1, the injury curse for a cover star
SmackDown vs Raw had Vince McMahon on the cover, who would later tear both his quads in the Royal Rumble 2005 segment with Cena and Batista.
The biggest coincidence in wwe is that gold dust theme was played after daniel bryan was eliminated in the royal rumble lol
FACTS they knew what they were doing you can’t not tell me wwe decided to have goldust make his entrance from the royal rumble with the words “shattered dreams” on the titantorn after danielson got eliminated from the royal rumble it was one of the few moments of wwe trolling their audience.
@@DeanMoxley87 Yeah wwe is not shy of trolling their audience when they want to😂.
The Kane one is fascinating!
HI wrestlelamia
Hey 😁
@@Wrestlelamia my second time today a famous RUclipsr reply to my comment
@@Wrestlelamia can you shout it out?
@@Wrestlelamia wow i never knew u reply to people lol
RIP to Eddie Guerrero, Umaga,, and every other superstar die
The runner up thing was also noticed by me as a kid. To a point when I thought it’s a certainty that a runner will main event Wrestlemania. It’s not a coincidence can’t be a coincidence
Literally same
A top babyface VS Two faction members in a triple threat match main event at WrestleMania XX, XXX and XL.
- WMXX: Chris Benoit (Top babyface) VS Triple H VS Shawn Michael (Two DX members)
- WMXXX: Daniel Bryan (Top babyface) VS Randy Orton VS Batista (Two Evolution members)
- WMXL: Cody Rhodes (Top babyface) VS Roman Reigns VS The Rock (Two bloodline members)
If you’re gonna label Jericho as a “WCW guy” then Triple H was just as much of a “WCW guy” too lol
Only problem is Triple H was only in WCW for a cup of coffee compared to Jericho plus Jericho was in WCW during its peak
Wrestlelamia: Kane has never won a world championship for 7 years.
ECW World Championship: Am I a Joke to you.
Surprised you didn't mention John Cena SummerSlam losing streak after burying the Nexus at SummerSlam
Triple h loves tearing his quads
Nice video. Been watching for a year now
Kane's impact since his debut hasn't been matched again...the aura, the storylines, the mystique...and he did it all as barely being a Heavyweight Champion.
Coincidence?! ☝️ *I THINK NOT!*
😂 There's always that one person.
You forget to say that Umaga's real name was... Eddie
I wouldn't call Paul Bearer being a real mortician a coincidence. It was one of the big reasons WWE decided to get him on, as he related in a shoot interview with Jim Cornette.
Yea that Kane instance proves life imitates art. No way they had that planned but the coincidence seems almost cosmic
Dean pinned seth to win his first wwe championship
Seth pinned roman to win his wwe championship
Roman pinned Dean to win his first wwe championship
Coincide
Extra Facts:
Number 10:Dont forget Triple H vs WCW would also lead into Wrestlemania 20 as he would face Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit who was a WCW Star before going to WWE
Number 6:Chris Benoit trained under Bret Hart's dad Stu in his Dungeon and Daniel Bryan was trained by Bret's long time rival Shawn Michaels AND (even though Bryan wasnt wrestling under his real name) Daniel Bryan happened to also have the same first name as Chris Benoit's Son AND Benoit and Bryan's movesets and lifestyle were extremely similar both used the Crossface as a finisher and both married their wives through wrestling
Number 5:Also keep in mind Umaga's real name is "Eddie" Fatu
Number 2:Also this happened in 1999, 2000, 2012, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022
1999-Stone Cold runner up to Mr.Mcmahon in 1999 but went on to face the Rock at WM19 for the WWF Title
2000-Big Show going runner up to The Rock in 2000 but went on to be in the McMahon 4 corners fatal 4 way match at WM2000(WM16)for the WWF Title
2012-Chris Jericho going runner up to Sheamus but went on to face CM Punk at WM28 for The WWE Title
2018-Roman Reings going runner up to Shinsuke Nakamura but went on to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at WM34
2019-Charlotte Flair going runner up to Becky Lynch but went on to face Lynch and Rousey for both Women's titles at WM35 in the first Women's Main Event in Wrestlemania History
2021-Rhea Ripley going runner up to Bianca Belair but went on to face Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women's Champion At WM37
2022-Charlotte Flair again going runner up this time to Ronda Rousey but went into WM38 as the Smackdown Women's Champion and faced Ronda Rousey
(Extra note for number 2:1994 and 2020 dont count cause in 94 A. Bret and Luger were Co-winners and B. The Runner up was Shawn Michaels but he went on to face Razor Ramon for the Intercontinental Title at WM10 in the greatest ladder match in WM history and in 2020 Reings did go runner up and was gonna face Goldberg for the Universal title at WM36 but he called out cause of the covid pandemic so was replaced by Braun Strowman )
(Also Honorable Mention):
In the Royal Rumble who ever drew Number 14 would have Bad luck for the Rest of their career in and out of the ring even would die aswell ex:Marty Janetty in 1991, British Bulldog in 1992 and Eddie Guerrero in 2003
Nice compilation
The Kane mirror situation is crazy 🔥
Ultimate Warrior delivering his own eulogy a day before he died is a hell of a coincidence
Man, an Eddie Guerrero vs. Umaga dream match would be amazing! 🔥
Love your videos so much please respond ❤️
Someone in the back stage writing those scripts are the legends one.
I love your content Wrestlelamia ❤
FUN FACT:
All singers that sang Triple H's theme songs are ALL DEAD.
Chris Warren f/ DX Band = DEAD
Dave f/ Drowning Pool - The Game =DEAD
Lenny f/ Motor Head = DEAD
I love these kind of lists. ❤🙏🏽
Wrestlemania “coincidence” should be talked about more, if Cody wins this year that coincidence will live on
I got one...
Every time Rey Mysterio won a world championship, he'd lose it almost immediately. Except for his first run of course.
His second run ended after Kane cashed in Money in the Bank that same night.
His third run ended after John Cena challenged him the same night he won it.
what a coincidence that this video is 9:11 minutes long
It’s crazy bc now Cody is gonna face Roman at wrestlmaina 40 and probably beat him
What about these two….
1. Both Shane and vice have the same injury unplanned in PLE shows.
2. Ultimate Warriors last speech on raw talk about soaring thur the heavens and being about this world, then passing away day later.
Also, Steve Austin broke someone's neck in NJPW using the exact same reverse piledriver that Owen Hart would go on to use against him!
Yeah it was Chono who got hurt
Most of these are just various economics reasons but i appreciate the original content
I remember in 2017 I was at bankers life fieldhouse to watch raw that night and I was really young about 8 but I remember my dad bringing up that the shield debuted there and also broke up there and in the middle of the show the shield came out and power bombed strowman through a table. I went nuts because I loved the shield and dean ambrose was my favorite wrestler and still is as Jon moxley but that was a truly special night
I absolutely hate how The Pedigree has basically become just a signature move now.....
So did the Sweet Chin Music
Wow, so basically Karma forced Edge into retirement...
5:20 Bankers Life Fieldhouse (now called Gainbridge Fieldhouse) just got announced as hosts for Royal Rumble 2025 and Wrestlemania 2026 crossing my fingers haha
How about The Authors of Pain being named “Akem” and “Rezar”. Occam’s Razor.
Considering HHH used the pedigree before he was HHH I'd say that particular coincidence is spot on
