Awesome, I'm going to get a bottle of that. I have a pinhole leak. Now I remember using a pepper shaker into a radiator when I was a teen. That helped for a few weeks.
This seems to still be working since I released the video! Bars has a good reputation so that is why I went with them! I haven’t heard of using pepper! That seems like it would work! God Bless!
ust tried this last week followed directions still had leak lower rad hose area ford escape , so kept heater off when driving around and a few days later leak stopped i think it needed more pressure to get into smaller areas
Greetings from Northern Vermont. Been using Bar's leak from many years in my older vehicles. This Cooper block sealer 1109 is outstanding. If used AS DIRECTED and it's not a water pump seal thats leaking, it will work.!! Great Video and thanks for posting.
HELLO ! great to see you back, your looking well and a great video, i have used other Bars leak products many years ago with great success, it made it last about a year longer ! if i remember right it looked more like a thick syrup, i image this product is a lot more advanced now than back then. Yes im a heat on feet person as well, my car is set to the same, MMMMM ? butter milk ! perhaps we could bath in it for that beautiful copper shimmer look, peoples faces would light up on our approach ! thanks Scott, have a great week, God bless and say hello to little man for me. take care
Hey Brother! It feels good to be back in the "Zone"! I can tell you after all day at work the Bar's Leaks definitely Stopped the leak! I had no coolant spots below the Jeep! Boy, will that save me a bundle for now. I knew Great Minds think alike, I cannot stand to have the heat blowing towards my face!! The Bar's Leaks stuff worked great and had the consistency of Buttermilk, but not the color. Buttermilk is white like regular milk but is it thick like syrup and a bit clumpy.... It is not something I really like, but if you make biscuits with it they are AWESOME!! Of course, you could still put Buttermilk in your bath, it would make your skin smooth and soft, or so I am told! Give my best to the family and we will chat later! God Bless!
Should be fine - I did this before. Run it with the dirty coolant for about 2 weeks then drain and flush the system out to remove any excess stop-leak and dirty coolant. I had a leak on a freeze plug on my F150 and I have been leak free for 3 years now. If you leave the stop leak for too long in the coolant you can risk it clogging the heater core. Once you see the leak stop, run it for an extra weak and then flush it. Blue Devil also works really good.
Aluminum one is for Radiators and Heater Cores. Copper one is for Radiators, Heater Cores and Engine Block . Rislone Copper worked for me ! Bars and Rislone are the same.
@@jonhsmith2706 Edmonton Alberta to Corona CA and back in my 93 Gulfstream with a 5.9 Cummins. Used a small amount of coolant at the start of trip and no coolant coming back . But why do you need a bottle every 4 months. This stuff is permanent.
Ive used the aluminum bars leak on my jeep and it didnt stop the heater core leak. It in fact clogged the heatercore so now i have no heat.. but it still leaks coolant as i smell it still lol. But it was worth a try as its a royal pain to renove and entire dash and disconnect the a.c to get to the heatercore. My other jeep has a couple leaks on the intake manifold bolts in the rear. And a timing cover leak. So i might try this copper stuff.. but i dont have high hopes. But to remove and intake and timing cover on an old AMC360A engine is a roysl pain compared to other engines as the fuel pump oil pump and distributor are on the timing cover
Sorry to hear that Bar’s didn’t help. It seemed to work for us for a while but then the crack got bigger and well..... had to replace the whole radiator. Big job to do, and not something you should do yourself! Thanks for watching and God Bless!
Sorry for the late reply! This stuff works pretty good...... However, if you have any bigger issues with your cooling system like larger cracks or holes in your cooling system it will not resolve those issues. It worked great up until a few days ago when I got about a three inch crack in my radiator..... now I will be replacing the radiator this weekend! But for small issues it seems to work great! It work well enough for me to get the money put together for a new radiator.... So, I will say it really depends on your circumstances. Thanks for asking!! God Bless!!

Thank you, great video

Is it good to stop leak from water pump ?
I am not sure if it will work with a water pump leak. You could give it a try and see. Good luck!
I put some in my buick 03... Drove from AZ to Chicago without it overheating good stuff
It still worked great for us.
Do I put some in anti freeze tank also and should everything be empty
Did it work?

What if I have dirty coolant can I put this stuff in before draining it?

Can’t understand why people buy diluted antifreeze. You can buy concentrate for close to the same price add water and have twice the amount.
when your low coolant light comes on somewhere on the highway, you get what you can pour in right away.
@@thespacesbetweenstudio3346 I understand that situation.
Yeah but most people don't know that. They may not want to take chances experimenting either.
Because people are stupid
Diggin into this.
Leak up high or down low ?
Does it work with water that's in the radiator
My heater doesn't work. Can I still use it?
Why not. I don't know why they want you to run the fan
If your heater doesn't work you may have a failed water pump.
If you water pump is bad, you need to replace it.
Hey my friend this is Julian from Tennessee I have a quick question... in order to add that bars stuff it’s no going to affect the thermostat ?
Not as I have noticed.
I bought a bottle today hopefully it works I will find out tomorrow.
Hows was the result?
I'm doing the same thing, I'm going to order new radiator from rock auto because it's better priced and hopefully it can hold out for a few days
Can i pour it outside intake i got a crack n some inside .
I tried this and used as directed and when engine cooled it wont start now
Did your car overheat prior to this?
You didn’t say if it worked….
J-just E-empty E-every P-pocket. I have a love hate relationship with mine.
How do I know if I should use the copper one or the aluminium one?
Aluminum one is for Radiators and Heater Cores. Copper one is for Radiators, Heater Cores and Engine Block . Rislone Copper worked for me ! Bars and Rislone are the same.
@@jackpontiac52You're correct a bottle of this every 4 months not bad I seal blown head gaskets and leaking radiator where it overheats after 25 mins

Ok good talk didnt tell us it worked or update ok
What happens if your fan doesn’t work?
I haven’t experienced that happening so I am not sure what to tell you.
Your car will overheat.
is this a serious question?
Small drips it might work but big drips don’t even waste your money
