Seeing all the hakka love in this comment section makes me happy. Ngl im here mainly for him, even though everyone are wonderful and talented singers, hakka's cover felt most unique and like a cover to me, so i was most happy with it
in all honesty, i feel like there should be WAYY more love and views on hakka's, considering that he's the first holomem to cover it and the effort he put into it ! !
Their voices blend so well that the only one I can make out distinctly is Hakka's (and that's mostly because of the grit he added to his). Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like Hakka is singing at the same octave as the rest of them for almost the entire song, which shows just how insane his range is. Anyway, thank you for the mashup. Of the ones I've seen you always do a great job mixing covers together. And all 5 of these were amazing to begin with, so it's great hearing them together.
he does sing in the original octave, which is not something any of the other holostar members have done so far (many of those who have covered it like izuru, astel, and rikka have all brought it down an octave or so as this song gets VERY high with some of its notes). like you said, really shows just how cracked he is at his tenor range!!
It is really interesting to see all 5 different MV's together you can kinda analyse it: Nene: Most true to the original MV Koyori/Calli: Having their own Ideas/Storys with some part taken Inspiration from the Original Hakka/Kanata: Having Limited Resources but utilising them to the fullest potential Kinda Interesting if you think about it!
I love this part 1:20, it goes extra hard when there’s such chorus running in the back, and they all sound amazing! Edit: I love how Hakka’s voice adds this roughness at certain points~
For People that (idk why) also wants to do a mashup of this song with Holo members here is a piece of advice: You need to find a way to delete the Instrumentals of each cover. Hololive Loves making their own Instrumentals/remixes for alot of their covers (I think to avoid Copyright or smth) in this case ALL 5 COVERS in this mashup had different Instrumentals. It will not sound clean when mixed together! So I kinda did an alternate version where all Holo members sing with the Original Instrumental. Idk if anyone even needs that advise but hey atleast it is here.
I feel like they make their own Instrumentals/remixes is because they are trying to make the cover themselves. Basically is to differentiate themselves from others and make them unique. Or like you said, avoid Copyright.
