I just finished binge watching all your videos from the Breakaway cruise. They were very helpful. We booked for our anniversary cruise end of February, but we splurged on a suite. I pray all our dinner arrangements go smoothly. Thank you for all the tips. We have only sailed Carnival and RC in the past. This shed a lot of light on the many differences between the ship companies.

Thank you for the comment! We haven’t given up on NCL. We are booked on the NCL Joy for November 2024. We hope you have a wonderful Cruise! Happy Anniversary!

    MMMmmm…Cajun meat pies & Chee-Wees! 😛
I’ve never been to New Orleans, but I’d love to sample all that food. Can’t wait to see your Rome cruise. 🛳️😃👍🇮🇹

Thanks Chris! I love those meat pies! I used to get them at the small Truck stops in Cajun country. We are starting the countdown for the Med Cruise.

Just found your channel and wanted to see your experience on the Breakaway. We just took our first cruise on the Breakaway back in December, and we stayed in the Haven. It was just ok, but I kind of expected more for the price we paid. Our disembarkation day was terrible, and because we were Haven members, supposed to call the concierge to get escorted off the ship. Our room attendant busted in our room at 7 a.m and then came in our room every thirty minutes there after. He would just burst in the door and look annoyed that we were still there. The final straw was when I was getting out of the shower, he came in, left our cabin door open and told my husband to go and wait in the Haven lounge. We weren’t terribly late and left our room around 9 a.m. which sounded reasonable. Oh! And I had sent out some laundry only to have a shirt returned with bleach stains splattered on it, to which they said it was my fault! I’m not trying to be a Karen, but that was a horrible first cruise experience.

I’m sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience. I assure you that that type of behavior by your room steward is absolutely not acceptable and is not typical. I hope you don’t give up on Cruising just yet. There are plenty of positive experiences to be had on Cruise ships.

We left our luggage at The Marriott. We gave the Porter a nice tip and asked if we could leave our luggage for a few hours. I don’t know if it will always work, but it did this time. There is an app called bounce which is for baggage storage and it looks legit, as far as I can tell. We used Uber. Thanks for watching!

You and Brandi may have gotten a tad burned around the edges, if you had went into that church.. 😮
    Glad you saved yourselves..
